Every time before a Charge, you'll hear,

"I should go"

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

or the alternate

WOOOOOOOOOOOOSH

Adept: 2 magic! 2 magic!
Engineer: SAVE ME *insert name of combat drone here* or BURN BABY! (like axel from KH)
Soldier: IMMA FIRIN' MA RIFLE! or "Nuke them from a distance with the Cain...its the only way to be sure..."
Infiltrator: enemy in scope...enemy down... or  in a whisper "shhhhh I'm sneaking..."
Sentinel: SHINRA TENSEI!!! *english translates to ALL MIGHTY PUSH!*

Gotta agree with everyone else, that article was funnier then hell and I cannot wait to play as a Vanguard in the MP, with my buddy playing as an Adept. And for those unsure on if they wanna play Vanguard, I have to say this: Because something, yelling out 'Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne!' and charging an Atlas for a Thunderdome styled duel is just the way it need to be done.

Depends, if you manage to always come on top, you are a VERY good Vanguard, because you survive despite waltzing into everything that moves.

Check this out

Pay attention to how many votes vanguard gets in this poll

Here is an idea of what people will play in Mass Effect 3

Wintermist poll of favourite classes in Mass Effect 2.

http://social.biowar...575/polls/1827/

1st Place Vanguard: 1043 votes
2nd Place Soldier: 1022 votes
3rd Place Infiltrator: 1021 votes
4th Place Adept: 567 votes
5th Place Sentinel: 466 votes
6th Place Engineer: 196 votes

I love them equally much: 437 votes

This is collected from 4755 votes and still counting. These were the results at 21:21 28/01/2012.

In other words CHARRRRRRRRRRGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah...engineers are not very popular because they can't defy time and space like the vanguard and the soldier. However, in MP I'm hoping that the engineer will get more people on board as I think they are the best debuffers (yes better than sentinel) because combat drone can be used constantly while tech armor has a long cooldown time.

The reason I love playing Vanguard is because of the risk. I disliked the Engineer because of the lack of risk. Engineers, Adepts, Soldiers, and Infiltrators all hang back and fight from defensible possitions (relative to Vanguards). Sentinels have a mighty shield to mitigate their risk. Playing Vanguard is so exciting because of th danger, The character's body is the Vanguard's best weapon. If we were to measure DPS or total damage done, Vanguards probably top the charts simple because they need to.

Engineers suffer a bit in terms of the dps IMO but make up for it with improved debuff/crowd controll.  I mean you only have to play as an engineer with ai hacking, combat drone and dominate bonus power and you don't even need to touch your weapons.  The enemies kill themselves :)

I agree 100%. Vanguards NEED to charge.  Vanguards are the only class that if u hang back and play like a ****, you WILL die.  Plus its just the most "free" class to play, so to speak.  You can completly rewrite the rules of combat.  See a bunch of enemies with long range sniper rifles/turret setting up, woop BAM! not anymore there not!, now I am free to flank those 3/4 enemies i have just charged passed who are pinned down by my squadmates and whack em with a few choice shots in the back with my claymore :)

And yes, as you can tell by my name, I like vanguards :)  I actually was thinking that it would be nice to actually have a squadmate in the campaign who can charge as well, but then I thought no, cause its shep's unique power and she is proud of it!

As a Vanguard player, I found this entry hilarious.

I'll likely get into situations where I go down prematurely and need some help, or perish because someone was too far away. Especially in the beginning, but eventually it will get to a point where I can judge when and when not to charge. Only thing then my team woudl have to worry about, is times when I feel bored and just want to go berserk.

The article was hilarious :)

I probably don't charge as much as some vanguards, but charge was probably the best addition of all in ME2.

It's really really interesting because after so long playing these games in singleplayer, we get to play a kickass Last Stand/Survivalish mode, and I have friends who brag about being about to pwn on insanity.

Will be interesting to see them back up their claims :o.

If dev's play multiplayer with us meer mortals it would be Faweaastic (combination of f*ckin awesome and fantastic) I can picture it now, priestly providing cover fire as casey pops the tops off of husks at a distance while I carefully flank the enemy, everythings going swell until....dun dun duuuun, vanguard charges ahead and fu*ks up my shot at dominating the enemy. Yeah that's right I said it

Hah, I'm sure they would play with us. Most dev's do play their own games.. I doubt you'd know if it was them though.

I'm sorry vanguards but you are a blight upon the galaxy. Not as much skill is involved in sprinting at the enemy and unloading a shotgun in there face, as flanking the enemy as a soldier or picking them off at a distance as an infiltrator.

I can tell you from experience, charging around and unloading a shotgun into an enemy is not as easy as you think. If you're not careful, you'll get obliterated.

Maybe, but your forgetting that sprinting at the enemy with a shotgun in hand is soooo 1st century bc
