God. Kid, you need to go die in a fire.

People like you don't deserve the air you breathe, you're a waste of space you insignificant, complaining zero who contributes nothing to society but wails of discontent over completely irrational things. I hope your computer can't run DA:O for the sake of the irony.

I Love it when people dont read the purchase agreement in fact you have no ground to stand on when you click pre order you agreeded to let them charge you for the product. In return you complain that they are doing something nice where they do not in there right have to. I have seen people try to sue over not reciveing there product when it was stated they would as inups delayed the shipment by 2 days and i laugh because thepeople think they have a ground to stand on. Untill your court fees and etc. I have also seen people call there credit card companys and dispute the charge to get it refunded and etc end up looseing and haveing to pay a fee for fraud. I have read this for the last 2 hours and laugh every time the OP opens his/her mouth.

Once the technical issues have been solved, all this will seem like a nightmare, and will be forgotten eventually. As another person has said with the timing this close, by the time you actually get a digital refund, the pre-load may well be out. Coming on here to vent will just help manage your frustration. Has Steam ever in their entire history failed to live up to their word? Probably yes, they are not perfect after all. Things happen, no download service is perfect.

I remember a Steam pre-load going just fine, but then on the release day the game wasn't unlocked for hours and hours past the timer on the store page. I wanna say it was Total War, but I'm not sure.

Lemme tell ya, the Steam forums were a very ugly place to visit that day.

More recently, international Borderlands fans were rather gobsmacked when the unlock counter hit 0 on the 24th....then said it wasn't released until the 30th. That was across all of the digital services. That was a really bad time to visit the Steam forums, too.

So yeah, this issue? So /facepalmingly small and silly compared to genuine complaints against both Steam and D2D in the past. The OP has every right to ask for -- and receive -- a refund and canceled pre-order if s/he wishes to do so, but considering the circumstances, how it wouldn't be filled until Monday, and the fact the pre-load was fixed before mid-afternoon PST anyway...

/facepalm

EDIT: Just noticed s/he deleted the social account. Now that's just amusing.
