Does anyone else feel the same of the inclusions being needed? Do you also think the lack of this content would be considered cheap of Bioware?

I think it's cheap and lazy.

I have a friend who flings those two words around together so often, it's become something of an interpersonal meme across my group. You just made me imagine you as him, and I laughed. Heartily.
That said, I agree with you.

Yeah having an all woman race ( Asari ) doesn't cover it all up....
And the only female krogan we see is covered from head to toe.
And the female quarians are covered from head to toe.

Agreed.
Still, we'll get to see a krogan, possibly a salarian. We saw a turian in the comix, but I'd really like to see a few in the game. Also, we heard a voice of a female elcor.
I'd really like to see a female batarian. Volus too. Every species, really. Honestly, it can't possibly be that hard to do. Some of the species could just have different voices. They already made a bunch of new enemy models, so why not females as well?
It's cheap and lazy, yes, but it also has other unpleasant social implications as well.

That will never happen. I doubt Wrex will share.

I don't need to see skin but if there is no specific lore reason that these females wouldn't be out mingling with society then I want to see them. There's no reason not to have them.
So give me some female drell, batarians, and turians.
Hell, give me a female volus too.

Back during GameInformer.com's 'ME3 media every couple of days' blitz last year, one of the segments was on designing the alien races. The designer openly admitted to a minimalistic approach toward including females of the various alien races because "they had difficulties making them look attractive" or some such. It's pretty depressing.

What if we've already met female volus?

This is why quarians are the best alien species; they're the only ones to achieve total gender equality and have equal representation. That and they have chicken feet.JeffZero wrote...
Yeah, I have few big issues with the way BioWare handles their Mass Effect franchise. This is far and away my biggest, though. In fact, come to think of it... it might be the only one I'd genuinely classify as big, apart perhaps from allowing some of their tie-in media to be helmed by people who don't know what they're writing.

Why, that sounds like a fantastic idea, GMagnum. Although from what I hear, Garrus is hinted to possibly have something going on with a different character, from what I've seen in the ME3 spoilers. She gives him chocolate, anyway, which is something I understand some species do to show affection. Not us chickens, of course.GMagnum wrote...
aye i wan a female turian dat hella cool lyke garrus den i play da matchmakr den hook dem up 2gether tbh
