There are female humans, krogan, quarians, asari and salarians that I can think of off the top of my head.

Asari reproduce without males... Why can't Turian's do it. Don't rule out the possibility. Even then... Females do exist. Lol.

Because Asari have been pointed out to be monogendered, Turians aren't.

Asari simply mind-meld with their intended partner for repoduction, and take genetric coding from their DNA to create a specific Asari with certain traits.
I never never said that Turians can reproduce without a female. In fact, what I said was the opposite. Turians need a female host.

Monogendered means one gender, which means there is no need for the terms female or male to describe their species. Humans refer to them as females because of their aesthetics but its technically not correct as they have no term for female among themselves.

So they are monogendered but from a human perspective are seen as all females, even though the term has no use in their society.

Females of other species have been mentioned alot. Quarian and Krogran females in the games. Turian in the comic. Female salarian in ME:Revelations. Not to mention Asari who are female like. However I do want to see how they all look in the games aswell

The difference between male and female may require knowing what to look for. For an alien spices what constitutes a blatant female appearance may go unnoticed by a human and the reverse may be true as well.

There are many animal spices on earth in which biologists either have to a hands on check or genetic test to find out if individual animal is male or female.

@Bluko: Couldn't agree more that it would be REALLY bizarre to not see any female turians in ME3 - especially if we're going anywhere near Palaven...

As for the female turian design - there is what we've seen in Evolution. That's canon as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately lots of people didn't like the design, so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't render them into the game. Shame, really, since their appearance in the comics doesn't conflict with anything we've heard about them so far.

I'm not especially fond of the female turian design in the comics, but at least it's something. I mean if the reason they omitted female Turians from ME3 was because some people didn't like the comic rendition, that's pretty lousy. If they just gave us something in-game there would be no debate on what female Turians should look like.

I guess they're too conflicted what to do with Turians. Really kind of shame since we'll likely be visiting some Turian worlds/ships, which you think would mandate the female Turians be present. I mean they obviously created male Quarians for that entire purpose. Also ME3 even has human kids, but no female Turians?  I can definitely see a few game reviewers taking some issue with this. I just don't get it, since it seems like such an obvious must-have. Even more so then what do Quarian faces look like?

We didn't see any Male Quarians until ME2, then we met the awesome Kal'reeger.

Who knows, I hope they reveal the face of the Krogan female just to see if and how BW has feminised the Krogan features.

Not too bothered about Volus, Elcor or Vorcha, but it'd be nice to see female Turians, Batarians and Drell.
