I think the development of EDI's character is progressing rather nicely despite of her body.
Hell, she even starts to simulate hate at one point.
I wonder if we get a point where she just says "EXTERMINATE!!!!!!"

Oh, and Shepard refers to Legion as "he" during Overlord. That's good enough for me.

Boy, is there a single squadmate who doesn't extremely hate that guy? Maybe Vega...Someone With Mass wrote...

Nah. That hate is aimed towards her creator.

SMW asked me to come and post here.
I think what Bioware is doing with EDI is ridiculous. It reeks of cheesy fanservice and it makes it hard for me to take ME3 seriously. All in all it's a fairly immature twist on EDI's character development.
I'm surprised EDI's body doesn't have guns in its boobs.
It also kind of undermines what EDI became in ME2.
She was so great as the Normandy, why make a squadmate out of her? What does it actually add? We already get her commentary in missions since she's our mission controller basically. So we don't get anything new by having her there in physical form.

Considering who EDI's creator is I wouldn't be surprised for hating them. The fact he ordered EDI's creation just happenstance.

I never really saw what was so special about her being the ship in ME2. All I ever saw was an AI who at one point would probably want to be more. Like the geth. Like the AI on the Citadel. Like the Reapers.

Samus' depiction in Other M pretty much ruined her for me, though. She was always special to me because she didn't need a male to help her out of the really tough binds. She slobbered all over a dude in Other M and got all weak-kneed and incapable without him, really ransacking what was important about her to me.

Just my two cents on trying to sexualize something for the sake of being sexy:
Bioware did the same thing to a different degree in SWTOR with just a simple jedi outfit in game.
Male Version:
Female Version:
Having that outfit reduced in size serves no purpose other than to just show off some skin. It's practically offensive for just being so blatantly obvious. Then again in ME2 we had Jack in protective leather belt straps...
I don't know I just get miffed when I read in the first sentence of a discription "We had to make her sexy" Why? What is so important about trying to sexualize a robot? Are we that desperate for more sexual stimulation that we have to fantasize about Rosie the Robot too?
