Yeah, 'cause that makes sense. Right.

It's still genocide. And the majority of quarians are still innocents, including the small children and babies they never show but most certainly must exist.Ryzaki wrote...

I like the geth/quarian peace ending. Certainly better than either moronic "genocide FTW" ending.Ryzaki wrote...
@Cheez: Huh. I found it tripe and cheesy myself. Almost as cavity inducing as the peace ending between the geth and the quarians.
More like self defense ftw since I'm siding with the geth.

Interesting. Either way I wouldn't really expect Miranda to be on Shepard's team due to the information. While it could be useful I would assume the Alliance would use both her and Jacob to root out Cerberus cells and maybe some informants. Maybe when they gain more trust have them lead strike teams against Cerbrus bases.Ryzaki wrote...
Ugh so silly. Some of it yeah but she has enough good intel to give to Shepard.

Anyway, I read the dialogue from the "side with the geth" ending and it was absolutely awful.

I fully and shamelessly admit that I'm a sucker for 90s Disney classics and sappy, comedic chick flicks. A light peppering of bunnies and rainbows amidst the galactic apocalypse is... refreshing.Saphra Deden wrote...

I still don't understand why they had to make EDI sexy, but like Cheez said "So long as the camera doesn't do the Miranda thing, I might actually be okay with her."

How could you not get distracted? It's like a pole dance crossed with a train wreck.mrsph wrote...
There is apparently an entire scene dedicated to EDI doing yoga and distracting the crew and Shepard having to tell her to knock it off.

Oh please like Shepard bows to the alliance. If they don't like how Shepard does things they can find their own way to defeat the Reapers. That'll shut them up right quick. Plus Shep has an AI running around. He clearly doesn't give that much of a damn what the alliance thinks.
I'm not inclined to think Miranda would care about the alliance's trust. Her main goals would probably be bringing down Cerberus and protecting her sister.
At the risk of making what might not be a perfect analogy, how do you feel about Hiroshima and Nagasaki?Ryzaki wrote...

I fail to see how it's genocide if it's in self defense. Regardless don't care. If those idiots want to attack with their children inside they'll get blown up with their children inside.
I loved it. But of course it's a YMMV.

I like EDI. I like where her character goes in ME3. I like her dialogue, and her power loadout looks cool. Hell, I even think her new look is cute. But I think the sexualization was completely unnecessary and reflects poorly on Bioware as a whole. Blatant sexualization is nothing but a cheap appeal to the lowest common denominator of the "target audience," and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
The EDI thing was a bad move, but some good things came out of it. I would rather have an ME2 squadmate take her place (Miranda and Legion are obvious candidates), but like Miranda, EDI's pretty cool once you get past the fact that her character design was an offering to the gods of the mouthbreathers.

What? He's hoping they DON'T do the Camera thing....
Also I doubt they will - its one thing to showcase a bio-engineered arse.
Its another to zoom in on old metal butt every few seconds.

What? I was saying that the Alliance just takes them in like they took Shepard's ship. While former Cerberus operatives they would still be held for questioning. It would make plenty of sense that they eventually get to join or lead Alliance strike teams against Cerberus. Especially if Cerberus is becoming a larger problem during a Galactic war.

Please don't compare events like this to the events of a videogame. It's tacky.

Why would anyone be that stupid? I'm talking about later after Shepard has the Normandy during the Reaper invasion. I fully expect anyone with sense to abandon the Normandy when Shep turns himself in. They wouldn't be there for the alliance to threaten and by the time anyone in the alliance knows where they are they'll be back with Shep and their won't be a damn thing the alliance can do about it.
