If it makes Joker happy, then why not? As long as I am far away from when he snaps a particular piece of cartilage I am fine. But please, no Shepard and EDI romance.

I don't get it. Shepard and EDI romance would be optional. Why would that bother you? Is EDI too artifical for Shepard but good enough for Joker?

I am not sure, it just feels right for Joker and EDI. But for Shepard... I don't know why, but I just can't think of how a Shepard and EDI romance would work. Can you picture what the build-up scenes would be? Because I am having troubles with it, because it just ends up with Shepard wanting her as a sexual object for when he desires. However Joker is in a different position, he has a much better "relationship" with EDI, and I can sort of see that working out a lot better than a Shepard one.

Really because the bolded is EXACTLY how I see Joker and EDI.

Meanwhile I don't see a paragon Shepard treating EDI that way.

Shepard also has a wide variety of personalities some of which are very kind and nuturing. I do not see that Shepard turning EDI into a sex object.

I'm sorry, are you a mechanic?

I am. I've worked with CNC machines, and let me tell you, it's a b***h to switch gears on some of those machines and you're always on a tight schedule, because someone ordered something like two hundred pieces of aluminum as a part of oil filters and thread feet for a pillar drill and wants them done tomorrow morning.

Laaaaaaaazzyyyyyyyy!!!!

It's also crminally negligent considering you are examining a ship that was built by a criminal organization and given a lot of illegal upgrades.

Might be a good idea to examine the ship really carefully so that you know exactly what you're dealing with here. Most especially when you find that big A.I. core you might want to data-mine it or something to see what Cerberus has been up to.

Yeah, it's more work, but guess what? That's your job.

I'm just glad you aren't my mechanic.

Illegal upgrades? Since when?

By the way, you're just displaying your ignorance in the topic, so just do yourself a favor and stop calling it lazy.

It just serves to prove much of a retard you are.

I really see EDI and Joker having a relationship that a brother and sister would have, or you know, just friends.

Despite what Bioware tells you, a male and female can be friends with absolutely no sexual feelings for one another whatsoever! So you don't need to pair up every character!

Since the schematics for the Normandy (and I believe the shield plating) were stolen from the alliance is since when.

I can't believe how far you're going with this.

What is your motivation, I wonder?

Is it that you don't want to criticize the Alliance or is it that you don't want to criticize Bioware?

Okay, think of it like this.

It's when you can't admit that Cerberus can do anything wrong.

Oh come on, Mass, you and I both know we'll be making snowmen in hell long before that ever happens. =]

A stealth system. Tantalus drive core. Thanix. Pretty much the entire thing.

The entire ship is extremely illegal if you hadn't noticed.

That I  think would be cool but you know the first thing that everyone things when you say relationship  between  a male and female... is that they are boning like rabbits.

Hence why I have said the Bioware idea of  relationships  are boring and childish.

Every character? Is that true? Oh no, Kaidan and Liara don't pair up, do they?

Ra forbid a male and female be just friends. That's apparently shocking. <_<

Nah I think it's just Garrus and Tali and Joker and EDI.

Steve and Vega have some funny banter but they don't hook up I don't think...

There need to be more works of fiction with heterosexuals of opposite genders just being really good friends.

Hmm, I suppose you a right about Joker. However, I still feel like there is a lot more of a relationship between Joker and EDI, so I think it would be Joker using here for sex; but in a sympathetic-ish kind of manor on EDI's behalf. I don't know why, but I just feel it fits for than Shep and EDI; but that may just be me being tired. Also, now that I think about it more; a renegade Shepard treating EDI like that would be quite interesting and would add a lot more to how much of a renegade people are willing to go. Will they be a bit of a bully, or a bully who is a nymphomaniac?

They should; it would make the anti-s/s people lose their heads.

Anyway, I typically romance Tali or Garrus myself, so it looks like my Normandy isn't turning into a total Love Boat.

Oh, I thought you meant those shield and armor upgrades that weren't really illegal to have installed at all. The Thanix, sure.

I really don't see that at all. I actually feel that Shep has as strong of a relationship with EDI as Joker does. And from the leaked script that relationship grows much stronger to me than whatever it is EDI has with Joker.

That and since Shep is a mallable character I do see his personality in some instances going far better with EDI than Joker.

Renegade though...yeah I wonder. He might just treat her as a sex toy or he might tell her to man up and find her own damn answers and give her a different perspective. It would be interesting to say the least how she reacted to different Shepards.

What shocking is a PS 2 era  JRPG    by Atlus  Persona 3&4    did relationship better than the  all mighty Bioware the gods of Western RPGS... and I think JRPGS did things so sub par the mighty Westren  RPG.

And the had the Pinnocho Robot too.

The armor upgrade sounds illegal seeing as Jacob got it by spying on the Alliance.

Honestly I would find it offencive towards disabled people!

Bioware have done so wel with Joker, witty, snarky and the only video game character I can think of who has a physical dissability who can kick- ass and if bioware have him romance a computer then I just dont have words for how stupid it is on their part!

That and I just have a feeling I have seen it somewhere before...um let me think......Trisha+robots+human romance, I think it was a pretty bit series, oh dear I just cant remember (at least  I am guessing thats what bioware wants)

Dont get me wrong I  really like EDI its just that this who thing seems silly! Of course Bioware may not have decided to go with it after all the script was an 'early draft'

It would be glorious. XD

Nah it's just gonna be Garrus and Tali for me. Joker and EDI is not happening in my games. Plus Shep was creeped out by Tali's crush on him so her moving on to Garrus makes him relieved.

Like how some people thought that Tali and Kal'Reegar were meant for each other for absolutely no reason?
