I'm pretty sure I'll at least not be so angry once I can nip the JokerxEDI relationship in the bud (or ideally destroy the fembot body completely so EDI never gets in it).

Regardless she's tech right?

Yeah, she's definitely tech, unless the developers decided on going in a completely alternate, rather nonsensical route post-beta. AVPen datamined enough Powers to find almost everything that seems to be attached to EDI. She's kind of like a pseudo-Sentinel. Sentinel-esque tech powers but with an Engineer's focus on tech. No biotics, thankfully.

Not possible. It's pretty much granted EDI, Vega & Liara are all unavoidable & unkillable to guarantee you never run of out squadmates covering basic professions (Combat, Biotic, Tech)

I don't think we can destroy her, because, like I said, she seems to be the guaranteed tech character (answering your question there) for those dumb enough to have killed off all the rest. Like Vega is for combat and Liara for biotics.

Edit: Oh, ninja'd.

You guys are making me want to ditch the book I'm reading an buy an Asimov book. I hear caves of steel is a good place to start. I'm not a smart person so I just read books for a good story an any hidden message would be lost on me unless pointed out though. /offtopic. I hope Joker makes another reference and asks her "Do you dream of electric sheep" or some other crack

Oh, that's a good place to start. See if you like it. Asimov's works are pretty deep, but they aren't so deep that they lose sight of good storytelling.

I am happy and I support Fembot!

Her design isn't exactly what I was picturing in my head but it will grow on me.

I like killing a few folks off during the Suicide Mission, since I'm one of those crazies who actually enjoys what he perceives as emotional impact from it, but I always keep Tali and Garrus alive since ME3's squad is much smaller.

As I've said before, I really like the new design for EDI, it may not be everyone's thing - but hey, different strokes for different folks.

Well she has the body, all you need now is to give EDI a whip and some BDSM gear and have her say to joker again again "I love the sight of humans on their knees!"

Yeah I think this scene didnt make the cut... would have been hilariosu tough.

Lol. Oh god.

I loved EDI in ME2, when I first read the leak's I thought she would look like a human with hair and everything. So seeing her in her new form is kinda cool. I'm just kinda annnoyed with the whole 'sexy female' They could have made an awesome new robot design but I have a thing for Metropolis and vintage sci-fi so I do also like it.

She will be in my squad. I want to make a banner but obviously that'd be a walking spoiler so I'll have to refrain for now.

Hm, perhaps using "dumb" was a bad choice of words then.

Ha, I'm never able to kill off people in the Suicide Mission - I've considered doing it just to see the scenes, but it always felt too much like betrayal to me. Plus, I always get fooled for a second when they pull that fake-out with Garrus. Every time.

As for the design itself, does anyone else also preffer one of the unused-concept designs more to the final one? Especially the ones on the bottom. I still like the final design, but other ones convey the retro-fuuturistic Metropolis vibe they were going for better than the final one IMO

That's damned stupid. This kind of handholding pisses me off. At least in ME2 I could kill anyone as long as I kept 2 people alive.

Yeah, that's how my girlfriend is. Every time she replays ME2, she intends to kill a few off (she sorta-kinda-but-not-entirely agrees with my viewpoint that it really helps with the dramatic storytelling thing) but she can't bring herself to do it.

I understand. It kind of is a betrayal, from a meta perspective. I like all the squadmates a fair bit. I hate having to orchestrate it, but I also hate the perfect ending. So it's a Catch-22.

Damn the Collectors.

I'm not happy about this because I'm sure Bioware is going to screw this up. That said, this is my most hated thing in the script and I'm starting to go meh towards it.

Her body is pretty damn durable as well. It's made out of titanium with ultra-light harmonic-phased power cells.

To me, personally, killing off people in the SM doesn't feel all that emotional; the deaths don't really seem to mean much or have any real impact. That's why I keep everyone alive, besides the obvious "I want to do everything perfect".

In fact, I know somebody who killed off Jacob one time just because he thought it was funny.

Does she bleed white like the synthetics in alien though? This is key information if I must keep my pre-order

I don't think she has that kind of liquid like the geth do at all.

Unless you count the elastic silicon-titanium mix in her chest.

...

What? Got to feel authentic.

Is that actually mentioned in the script?
