Is there a reason he's not showing up at the Eternity bar in Ilium for me? I've read in many places that no matter what you do in your interaction with him in ME1, it's bugged and flagged as you putting a gun in his face and he'll show up in ME2. I know I'm in the right place, because I've talked to the Asari bartender who normally wants him to ****** off. Am I missing something?

I just reeeeeally wanted to shoot him in the foot.

Assuming I recall this correctly, if you tell him he's better off at home, he won't show up again. I just went through my guidebook and it said nothing about Verner. As for me, I liked being able to shoot his foot but I would have aimed just a little higher...

There is usually an Asari outside somewhere complaining about this guy. I think that's the trigger for Conrad Verner.

Hmm, I'll look around for her. I vaguely remembered that - or at least I couldn't remember if it was just the bartender, or another Asari complaining about Verner.

I actually can't remember what I did to him in ME1. I don't think I stuck a gun in his face (if I recall you have to talk to him three times, and I never found him the third time) but Shepard was pretty rude to him the first two times.
