ReaveSoldier - Horizon (2) - Gun Towers
AR Vanguard - Horizon (2)

I missed the bit above about Horizon.

This is how I always do it regardless of class.

^Yeah thats how I do it, except I try and kill at least one scion before it gets to the stairs with a heavy weapon.

@frustratemyself - how did you find the horizon scions fight? haha i'm doing an adept insanity run atm, and that fight was the hardest/most annoying fight ever. Squad pretty much died instantly and I had to run around dodging husks and those blue-shockwaves for ages...

also, do you know if the overlord dlc is worth getting? That and arrival.

omg strugglefesssssst! I think that was the worst fight of the whole game for me, I spent at least a day tearing my hair out. My squad kept dying within 10 - 20 seconds cause i kept getting swarmed by the damn husks. Or if I avoided the husks by running around like a mad thing the scions still took me out.
I ended up going a bit cheatsticks and killed one of the scions from the doorway before going into the main area :(

I played Overlord and Arrival on pc previously. Overlord I didn't like it so much, I found it a bit annoying in parts and too much time in the hammerhead for my liking. I just started Arrival tonight. It's really good particularly if you're up for a challenge. I think it will drive me nuts but it's great story-wise and should lead in well for ME3 .

Two things:

1. Alice: Madness Returns is my 2011 GOTY
2. Heavy weapons and Warp spam turn that fight into a cakewalk. Also liberal Medigel use for your squad.

 quite an under-rated game too I thought.

I think I only had 2 medigel at that point and my squadmates were dying so fast I just stopped trying to revive them. Probably should have used the heavy weapons, I usually save that ammo for the praetorian. Looking back it's a bit silly since that part can be done spamming warp. Ah well, will see how I go with it next playthrough.

I went from normal to insanity with the soldier. Once I learned a good mix of ammo powers, Inferno ammo + Mattock + A.Rush for Shep to blow away armor, squad cryo for my mates gives a good second or two to go back and pick them off. Once I had that down, most battles were a snap.

Yeah, my Adept was actually my easiest run on that fight so far for some reason. I think I'd actually go so far as to say it was my easiest Insanity run through, at least until Arrival. Adept is squadmate dependant.
