I don't hate elves exactly, but I'm certainly sick of the arrogant, stuck-up attitude and so on that seems prevelent in virtually every sort of elf in most settings you could mention. It just seems over-used to me, I'd find a few portrayals of elves being more humble or down to earth quite refreshing. Even just to break up the wall to wall belief elves seem to have that they are intrinsically better than everyone and everything, even in settings where there is quite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

An arrogant character can be put up with, but an arrogant species is too much hassle.

For the most part I like all elven incarnations. Can't say the same for the disgusting  dwarves.

Elves are better than dwarves because they can be both effeminate and a badass.

And they don't need a box to look over a short wall...

Now that I think about it, I have to say that I don't particularly care for elves in general in most fantasy worlds (multiple exceptions for individual elves of course). They always seem to have a chip on their shoulder about something-or-other. Whether it's their own "superiority" in TES, or the endless obsession with their own "victim-hood" in Dragon Age.

Bottom line: the elves need to get over themselves.

Elves. I would have to say, over all, NO. I don't hate them. I do find in certain games, or books, or what have you, I do not like them. Dragon Age elves? No, I don't hate them. They amuse me.

No, I don't hate elves, dwarves or other fictional creatures. They aren't real, and I hate very few people who ARE real (I can count on one hand all the people I have hated my entire life and still have fingers left over). I don't have the energy to expend hating someone/thing that isn't real.

Franky I am sick of elves in general. Is there a law somewhere that fantasy isn't fantasy if there are no elves? Just how many ancient beautiful magical races in decline can you stomach?

I've had it with elves. Which is why Elder Scrolls pisses me off, the fact that EVEN THE HUMAN RACES are elves.

Elves... Can't say I hate them nor can I say I like them, but I hate what the human have done to them in the DA universe.

Hmmm... have to say the Elves are my favorite race in fantasy and generally play as an Elf when the opportunity is there. In most fantasy games, I tend to play Elves and Humans more than anything else, though Dragon Age: Origins made playing Dwarves a lot more fun than other games however, Gnomes are my least favorite when offered as a playable race.
