Hi All,

I have created a Campaign in NWN2 when I transition to from one module to another without saving the game, it transitions fine. But after saving the game, it hangs on the transition. If checked the modules out extensively but can't identify the problem.

Any words of advise?

Thanks,

The only time I've had transition problems is hen the waypoint I'm transitioning to either doesn't exist or isn't in the walk mesh. I don't know why saving would alter anything.

It might be related to that area-baking cache problem. Maybe he's baked an area, and the new bake makes the waypoint inaccessible. But when he plays the module, it uses the walkmesh from the old bake. When he saves, the module gets a new name (the save file), and the old copy of the walkmesh in the cache is no longer used. The new walkmesh is used instead, bugging the transition.

So go check your area, maybe you put a new placeable or something that took a bigger bite out of the walkmesh than you expected.

Thanks for your responses, but it's not the walkmesh. The area is baked and the location of the waypoint is in a walkmesh area. It has something to do with the campaign. I can jump between 2 seperate modules without a problem but once they become wrapped in a Campaign. The save problem begins.

Any additional thoughts?

Thanks,

So is your operating system Windows 7 by chance? My experance has been a number of small gliches and such because of the clash with NWN2 and 7 even with all proper down loads.

This is a real long shot, but maybe if you are running vista or 7 as Alupinu suggested, perhaps you could run as admin in xp compatibility mode. I have had success with this for other xp-era games. Hope that helps, sounds like a tricky problem.

If that doesn't help, is there any possiblity some of your modules are small enough to put together?
