I am not sure if anything has changed but are the Shanks still the best daggers for a rogue?
Which Daggers are the best for Rogue now?

In general, any weapon that levels-up will eventually outperform those that do not. However, there are daggers that are pretty good under certain conditions or versus certain enemy types. Dagger of the Four Winds, for example, has four rune slots.

What daggers do you use?

I rarely play dual-weapon Hawke, but for Isabela: usually Jarvia's Shank, Beraht's Revenge, Bard's Honor, Carta's Hands. Thrice Bound if I need a boost for lockpicking.

Yeah, elemental daggers (beraht's revenge+the low blade, bard's honour+shadow's claw, dagger of the four winds) are the best unless facing immunities.
Depending on the enemy, switching between the nature set and the spirit set should generally be optimal (with an emphasis towards the set with the Primeval Lyrium Rune).
Before then, any of the dlc weapons should work.
Unless you get the dagger of the four winds really late-game, it probably isn't going to be that much more amazing. The maximum any (rogue) weapon needs is around two slots anyway (rune of devastation, PLR). Improving critical chance shouldn't be necessary and the elemental runes add next to nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Thanks. I use Jarvias Shank and Berahts Revenge, one has the Privemal Lyrium Rune attached and I think the other has a damage rune. I forgot which is which but I was thinking I would switch out the physical damage shank for Bards Honour. I am not sure if I am familiar with The Dagger of Four Winds. Does anyone use Finesse or The Hawke Key dagger from Legacy?

You can only get it in Mark of the Assassin if you have Isabela in your party (it is Isabela specific dagger).Rasputin17 wrote...

physical damage isn't quite as ideal as elemental damage as it is affected by enemy armour, does not get any elemental weakness bonus, and the knock-back force effect isn't as useful (imo).
the main reason would be elemental weaknesses, as even with armour penetration, hawke's key still never gets a x2 bonus against enemies. that does require planning which set to use for fights though.
also, elemental damage has bonus effects: nature deals more 'force' and is better at triggering the nature force effect (which allows spike damage to be used for disabling/crowd control), spirit ignores 50% of enemy resistance etc.
the only useful thing about physical damage is on nightmare, where elemental immunities can become annoying.
