Is there any place I could download NWN2, I bought it via steam and really hate how most modules or apps like dedicatedserverextractor don't sense/identify NWN2 as being installed.

or any other place that sells a download of the game. No one's going to let you download it for free and input your key.

Maybe if you provided a little more information on the bolded portion of your post, someone could help you with the core issues you seem to be facing.

I use a standard install as well as the Steam version of NWN2 and have no issues - as the vast majority of people here. 

There might be something simple that can be done to alleviate the problems you've been having.
