Orion Moreno seemed rather cool, IMHO.

Fan service is a glorious thing.
Seriously, this is how it ALWAYS goes: Bioware does something that will please some/most people, but not you, it's "stupid fanservice." But when they do what YOU want, even though it pisses OTHER people off, it's "taking fan feedback into account/good writing."
EVERY. DAMN. FANGROUP does this.

Are you Superman? How many buildings did you leap to jump to that conclusion?

They are, but "fanservice" and "feedback" have different connotations attached. Same process, but with different feelings.Il Divo wrote...
I fully accept that Bioware isn't always going to follow my plan when designing a party. As for your statement, I find "stupid fanservice" and "taking fan feedback into account" to be one in the same, in the grand scheme of things.

And for the record, Lemon, I am not Superman. Superman is pickles compared to the power I possess.

Why does Blizzard always include damn near photorealistic cutscenes in all their games and take so much time in development to ensure that everyone will like the end product? Why does Bethesda always make such long RPGs in such large environments? Why does Nintendo maintain such an obsessively high level of quality control when debugging their first party titles? Why does Luna die in a horrifying way in almost every "The Luna Game" title? Why does Call of Duty have so many weapons?
The answer is, when developers try to make good games, they tend to stick to their guns. Writing interesting characters is the one thing Bioware does better than any other studio, so if they didn't add any new squadmates, they'd be leaving out their strongest suit.
You quite obviously haven't read the script. If you had, you'd see how ridiculous your statement is.DarkLord_PT wrote...
