miranda rubbed me the wrong way with the whole " i am perfect,with self estame issues" Jacob doesn't really add anything besides jeaus like abbs and an **** daddy [ and his whole yes man/ forced firting with femshep]
Liara pissed me off with the whole fainting/ Ninjamance thing.

Also I lost the track of this thread. Are we talking about disliking characters as characters, or characters as writing? Because from a writing perspective I like Samara, like every character more or less, I am not picky. Just feeling a little less like a babysitter would be nice though.

The Characters I am not fond of

Jacob: Boring, theres not really much else to say about him, if I diont want everyone alive in most playthroughs he would die.

Miranda: I never use her later on when we get other characters, I also don't like her attitude when dealing with Jack and the fan attention she gets for having a virtual ass.

Tali Rabid fans are annoying, never use her in one or two, imo she whines too much, I wont use her in ME3 either.

Thane. I don't personally hate him, I just don't find him interesting at all. Having extreme Carth Syndrome only made it worse.

Most of the original ones, bar Kaidan, Garrus is too inconsistant with his consistancy "I see what you mean....well anyway off to being all renagade again kthx bye"
Just dislike liara in general.

I thought I'd hate Jack and Miranda but by thier Loyalty missions I really like them, particually Jack where she's not just "bad to the bone", blowing up that base after it's empty was effective at showing that. Although for a genenetic "beauty" Mirandas face isn't half weird.

Not a fan of Jacob and his loyalty mission didn't really do anything for him, maybe he was needed for balance but I just can't help but feel he was shoved in for one purpose only.

I don't hate the character but biowares handling of Kaidan, in ME1 he switches attitudes too often depending on who the 3rd party member is and not at all on how you respond to things he said. In ME2 you get a brief 5 seconds with him where he makes a snap jugdement and doesn't pay any value to the fact they put you back together, saving you from death the Alliance doomed you too and spent billions to do the same thing the alliance are trying to do. He should have became a squad mate as an alliance spy on cerberus, providing info on them, Shepard and the colonies, then wasn't the time to reject help for things they ultimately can't prove themselves yet. Not to mention so he could see for himself if you've changed or not. Amoung other reasons.

i don't hate any of the characters, except when MShep is romancing them. then the girls get too needy

Ashley and Kaiden. Hopefully I can get rid of the other one in ME3. Kaiden even dig his own grave deeper in ME2. Burn!
They are the only one I hate.

Some Im just indifferent to. Others, I love.

No hates, no dislikes.
I used to dislike Jack, but now I'm fine with her. Think the only character that constantly shifts on the scale between 0 .... 10 (hate ... love) is Liara. Currently she's more in the "like" zone. She never made it to "hate" or "love" ...

Don't hate any of them but characters that I have little to no interest in are Liara, Jacob, Miranda, Zaeed, Grunt, Ashley and Kaidan.
