Can you play DLC like Legacy or Mark of the Assassin from your post campaign save, like you could in Origins ?

I was curious about this as well. Is it done the same way its done in ME2? Meaning I will be able to import my save into DA3 with the DLC counting even though I did it post game? Probably a stupid question but better safe than sorry.

We don't know the mechanics of importing DA2 into anything. My guess would be that you pick the save you wish to import.

Side note: DA3 has not been announced or confirmed.

Well there absolutely WILL be a DA3.

People for some reason seemed to know beforehand with ME2 that our DLC postgame would import. I don't know much about technical aspects of things like that. Like I said, probably a really dumb question. I highly doubt they would design it to only take your post game save and not ones you had after the game while playing the DLC.

The problem with Hawke's post-campaign save is that there's no access to shops(including respec potions) and companion equipment, in case another DLC comes out. So I'm having two saves: one post-campaign and one right before reading "The Last Straw" letter(and all other quests/DLC done).

This is true only if you don't have The Black Emporium.  If you have that DLC then it can be access post game.  You can buy respec potions and adjust character equipment from there.

And Bodhan has a shop that at least allows you to sell stuff you don't need. Well, and buy stuff you don't need.
