Which is one reason I don't like Tali. She's incredibly one-sided when it comes to the geth. Scientifically, she's brilliant, a fair bit more so than 90% the galactic population. Sociologically and/or philosophically, she's borderline retarded.

Eh I think this is mostly due to her father but it annoys me that this aspect of her character is overlooked

How is her hatred for the geth overlooked? I assume that's what you're talking about, since it's what has been discussed for the past couple posts.

Rarely does anyone who is a fan of Tali remember that she's as stubbern as a mule when it comes to the geth

Hearing a lot of Miranda not being a permanent squad mate. That's going to be really disappointing.

She isn't. None of the ME2 exclusives are.

Dextro gets the super duper important treatment though, so it's ALL FINE!

If you couldn't tell, I'm extremely bitter.

I wouldn't mind if her role was important because I feel many characters Miranda included could be more useful not attached to Shepard

Knowing her leaked role...

No.

Miranda's role is personal, nothing professional. She has nothing to offer to Shepard to help.

She is stubborn about the Geth. Luckily for her, I hate the Geth too. So we make a great tag team.

Which in itself is a reason to be on the squad, once you think about it.

If she isn't doing anything particularly substantial while not on the squad, give her some duties on the Normandy and voila, her role is automatically larger, if artificial.

Ecxept for her talents. And them talents are kinda like the Spectre Gear in ME1: Once you get it, there´s no returning...

I sincerely hope you're being serious, and not making yet another extremely juvenile and idiotic sex joke.

Ah...
I meant that the sentinel way. E.g. 2-sided.

Also @Agitated Lemon, your avatar is cool.

Anyway, i hear they gave Miranda shorter hair and removed the Cerberus patch.
As sad and a bad move as that is on BioWare´s part, Jack´s permanent status seems even more likelier.
I mean, why would they put few weeks of work in to her redesign and we´d get to stare at it for 10 minutes.

There is a crap justice here, and a great injustice ... but it's not the matter of justice to put ME2 squadmates or not. It shows diminishing ME3, by putting old ME1 squadmates plus two or three new ones and getting rid of choices and consequences of ME2 in ME3, by the excuse of sending them to defend their interests ... Priestly said that there will be some interactions with some of ME2 squadmates, more like a short visit.
This is disappointing.

As far as I know she isn't? It seems to me people are just saying that because she got a completely new look where others didn't.

And hell, I have no problem with the ME3 except for Tali and Fembot. I figured Tali would've become an admiral or something after ME2 and that would have kept her busy, and I think Fembot is self explanatory.

Thanks, and yeah, that's all they did to Miranda. Took off the emblem and made her hair an inch and a half shorter. The difference is so negligible it may as well not have happened. I'm still not sure about Jack possibly being a squadmate. I'm going to be pissed if that's the case.

What would the people have done who got their team killed in ME2, if they hadn't given us new team-mates?

Wait wait, Jack is a perma-squaddie? Is this confirmed or just speculation? (All the others I know have been confirmed, in one way or another.)

Without giving away too many spoilers, can someone explain to me why she's the only ME2-exclusive squaddie to make it in? I'm not complaining, she's an interesting character, it just seems super random and not particularly logical.

And p.s. OP, I'm totally cool with the ME3 squad. Especially old tin-******.

ETA: Whoops, guess I should read the rest of the comments first.  No Jack confirmation, I see.
