Nice detail!

What's the reason behind the elf in the dragon's neck? I presume it's an elf, since there's a pointy ear...

...US Warden who made him king, maybe? Since Morrigan has her back to them...

I really like it!

That was my initial thought, except Alistair looked too damn cheerful. XD

So I guess he gets to stay a Warden too, as he's holding the cup and the Warden is carrying the crown away...

Hmmm... I'm thinking no. He's wearing King Cailan's armor and carrying King Maric's sword, not his Warden splint mail. I read it as her offering or holding the crown out to him.

I'd guess the Joining cup is meant to signify his Warden-ness. It would be less ambiguous if he were holding it inverted, but with everything else that's going on... and the 'King of Ferelden' caption under the picture, now that I see it, lol... I don't think he's staying a Warden.

The grey wardens gave hope and peace to the world. To the grey warden, who makes Alistair King, being a warden is centered around Alistair and Alistair's belief of what a warden is, so in essence King Alistair may represent all that that particular warden feels a grey warden is. Did that make sense? *sighs* So here's King Alistair given his throne with the support of the future Hero of Ferelden and Alistair represents all that is right and good about the wardens. I could be wrong but it almost seems to me that the warden may have given her life for Alistair's, Morrigan's back being to the situation makes me think that they refused her offer. Or I could be totally wrong and Morrigan being there means they take her offer and the wardens lives, but with the warden seeming to come from behind a wall of smoke clouds (from flames?) I think it might be the other. Ooops sorry, it's me blathering on. Leaving now. *smirks*

I am blind >.<

I keep forgetting about that armour too. Comes from never having had anyone use the gear from RtO, I guess.
