I am really happy about the squad! I was never one to fully out right HATE a squad mate. I love them all in their own special way. <3

EDI will take some time getting used to but her look for the most part I dig. I am not one for completely disregarding a character based on looks, I plan to at least give her a chance. Even though I hate the EDI and Joker storyline... <_<

I want to say who my main squad will be but I can't really, I love all of them except one for the moment.  

But when it comes down to it, when it is time to pick your squad when the final battle arrives and the last showdown commences, If I have a choice I will be bringing Kaidan and Vega.

I really love the ME3 squad. I know that there are times where you might have to sacrifice one of them, and I am not looking forward to that.

I think if they just added Wrex and Thane, it would be a perfect squad...but I'm pretty happy with the squad as it is.

The only one I'm not terribly thrilled about is EDI. She was perfect as a disembodied, supportive AI and giving her a "sexy" body reeks of nothing but mindless fanservice. I'm not saying there's no potential, but on paper it just sounds dumb.

VS is great to have with. Definitely a big impact based off a previous choice.

Liara is nice to have with. I've always liked her, despite people going on about how overly treasured she is by the writers.

Tali and Garrus I'm absolutely fine with. Team Dextro has been there since the beginning and I'd love to have them aboard for the final mission. Garrus is bro and Tali, assuming she quits the crush, is cool little sister material.

Vega is awesome. 'Nuff said.

I don't understand what's so unbelievable about Prothy. Is it so far-fetched that one of the Protheans would put themselves in Stasis and live till the next cycle? We had hundreds of them in pods on Ilos. I also don't understand what's so important about the "mystery" of the Protheans. They simply advanced very quickly and found a way to give hope to the next cycle via a few of their science projects. There's nothing mystical about them.

The only one I'd miss is... Legion. Definitely. He was so interesting and insightful. I'm satisfied with his role in the story, but still.

I like the squad. It makes sense to bring the ME1 characters back cause those were BW ME1 babies. Their first written characters. I'm sure they are very special to them. I just will miss Wrex. I just love his personality. Why Miranda is not one of the crew is a little strange to me considering she was in charge of your ressurection and has past connections to TIM. Also very excited for Prothy!!! He just sounds like a badass.

Kaidan - I have no issue with as he was my Shepard's best friend in ME1.

Vega - It would've been preferrable to have his spot filled by something different like a batarian, a fem-turian or whatever. Someone that could expand on the lore of one of the already established races. However, the character himself seems well written and believable enough, plus I prefer human squadmembers.

Garrus - Again, no issue but I was hoping he'd step out of Shepard's shadow and maybe lead his own team again.

Tali - If I was to ignore the whole 'crush nonsense' I'd not mind as she's the spunky litte sister action girl of the group. Unforunately I can't ignore that as Bioware retconned it into being 50% of her ****ing character and now I'm stuck with her again.

Liara - Sick to death of having to put up with Bioware's stupid Sue pet. Especially hate how I can't kill the damn thing.

EDI - Stupid concept that I can't avoid.

Prothy - Stupid concept but at least I can not download it.

In a nut shell: I like 2, am indifferent to 1 and hate 4. So this is without a doubt the worst squad yet.

Yeah he's the one I really miss, but mostly because we got him on the second half of ME2's main arc, so if we want to explore what he has to say (witch is very interesting) and in the meantime save all the crew, we have no choice but to wait for the endgame

I only have a problem with one of the new characters and since he is supposedly DLC I can avoid him. Otherwise, I am at worst indifferent with the current squad.

Completely agree with Cheez on this one. We can't always get exactly what we want but we can look at the good stuff that's there and be happy about it. I understand the frustration of people who didn't get their favorite squad mate in ME3 but if BioWare added everyone to the roster the game would just be cluttered with dialogue from all the squad mates trying to tell their own story. I think BioWare handled the situation the best they could. Giving non squad mate characters specific missions where they can have as much screen time as possible.

The only thing that I would suggest is instead of giving EDI the Metropolis style robot body they could have given her an Aliens style Android body. One that looks like a human being but with synthetic components. Just think that would be cooler.

Well, since 7 is a weird total, maybe DLC squaddie #2 will finally be Mr. Four Eyes.  Or a female turian.  Either one, since batarian squaddie-ness and female turians are the only two things ME3 doesn't have that I desperately want.

And then we can have an even number so I can stop being OCD about it.

For me this is the best squad yet - and that's with Wrex/Legion being my favourite characters.

Prothy and EDI look great; haters are going to hate. Garrus, Liara, Ash/Kaidan - I'm very happy to have them on the squad. And Vega - I'm really warming to this character now; FPJr seems like a genuine fan, and I'm confident he'll do Vega justice.

Ok, Tali I'm indifferent to, but I don't dislike the character and can live with it.

I'd much rather have Legion than EDI, but as long as she has an alternate outfit which involves clothes, I'll deal with it...
And I'm really looking forward to talking with Prothy, he sounds absolutely awesome =D

I'm not too excited about the VS or EDI, but I'm certainly not angry about having them on the squad or complaining about them "taking somebody else's place". And there's a good chance that they may be more fun than I expect.

The other five are all amazing, and most are among my favourites. Overall, this looks to be the best squad yet, especially with deeper interactions and more squad banter than we've ever had before.

I'm fine with everyone but EDI. I just can't fathom why at least some of the ME2 squad can't come back. Especially Legion, Grunt, Samara, Zaeed, or Jack.

They all seem like the kind of people who'd stick around, since they've nothing better to do.
