I always do at least 1 playthrough with the default Sheploo and Femshep. Ive had problems with other games in the past where making a custom face screws up the entire lip-sync, turning your game into a Sergio Leone movie.

I always make my own character. The only time I didn't was with the default femHawke, because she looked how I might make a character, if a little pale, but I couldn't connect with the character as well.

That's so funny, because I was tempted to use the default Hawke at first because he looked like a character I'd make. He had the best beard and hairstyle out of all the custom options anyway.

My only issue was he was WAY too tan! In the trailers he was pale! What happened? DX

Custom Shepards for all of them, both male and female.

first couple used default because I suck at making good custom faces, thankfully I discovered that ME faces site.

I enjoy the RP part, and customisation is an integral part of it for me. Besides, how else am I going to get a human mother and an asari father?

Yes, one custom FemShep and ManShep. I want to give my ManShep the custom FemShep mullet but the textures totally messed up, ended up giving him Samurai ponytail.

All custom (from faces database). I didn't like sheploo's hair and I wanted one of my mansheps to be clean shaven.

All of mine look custom as I don't like the default look.
That being said, I am never satisfied with my custom Shepards either due to lack of customization options (unmodded anyway)

Lol, other way round for me. I really liked how both defaultHawkes looked, and still couldn't get into playing as them, so I don't think I'll bother when I consider the defaultSheps less attractive.

I tried to make a custom male shep but it never worked out so now default is cannon

Does your little pic thing at the bottom of your deal (haven't been here long) suggest that Aria is the Vanguard Wrex encountered?

yes there is evidence to support this

I always use the default Male Shepard because I don't like the options to create your own shepard and I never veer off course from using the default.

I've only ever completed the game as FemShep, so I always customise. I also have two custom BroSheps, but I've never finished their runs and probably never will because of plastic face syndrome. Not overly fond of Sheploo's face, but he does have superior textures. With a custom FemShep, you can at least slap some colour on her cheeks and call it a day. Not so with DudeShep.

And I can't be arsed to mod.

I custom make my own. I tried to make my male Shepard look like Captain Benjamin Sisko from Deep Space Nine, though more people have said he looks like Samuel L. Jackson. Oh well!

Always use default male Shep but use custom for any female Shep's.

I used the default Shep face for ME 1 then customised my Shepards in ME 2.

I haven't used either of the defaults yet. Might consider it for ME3 though... but that would be after I run through with all of my custom Sheps.

this isn't the only game with character generation where I always use the default male and female characters,I stay with the default characters no matter what I refuse to change their appearnce. The only exception to this is for MMO's that I play then I use the character generator

Default Male Shepard, Custom Female Shepard.

This exactly all the time for me, but to continue for what I was saying is that in MMO's I always play female characters except for one where I have a guy character. Other than that I always use the default settings for the male characters in rpgs except if I don't like the default. Take dragon Age I always use the default with slight changes for the chin etc.. Reason I use the default male in ME 1 and 2 and in 3 is because I like the look of the default and it doesn't need to be changed but I seen the other options for creating shepard and I'm like ewww no way.

I can only bring myself to create a custom female Shepard, because Hale's voice suits a lot of different looks. Whenever I try to make a custom male, he ends up looking scary, and his voice doesn't suit him. So do you guys create a custom Shepard, or use the default?

Usually I try to create custom characters on any game that gives the choice.

Including DAO and DA2.

But I found that the ME CC just isn't as good as the Dragon Age CC, so I've stayed with Sheploo in every playthrough (I'm not really complaining cause he's not exactly ugly).
