Custom, of course. Although, I do have one character that uses default Shepard's appearance.

I use default Shepard for all of my male Shepards. Custom for female. I imagine I will use default for female in Mass Effect 3.

Always use a custom Shepard (as I do with all games that offer custom faces). I model them off of different celeb mixes.

I have 26 sheps and all, save two, are custom. The remaining two are the default, but my canon runs are always custom. The default runs are just for fun.

Never use default myself. Not Sheploo or FemShep, Not in ME1, ME2 or upcoming ME3.

Always custom for me.

all of my 20 male shepards are default shepards and I don't agree default shepard doesn't look creey in any of his scenes.

My very first Shepard was custom, so I've never gotten used to Sheploo.

Default. Some people have the talent to make decent looking customs, but not me. I once tried to make one that looked like me, but it ended up looking horrific. Of course, maybe I nailed it and I'm just in denial about how terrible I look. Who knows? XD

Always create my Shepard's from scratch (and other RPG characters as well, if I have the possibility to do so). I've never ever played a default RPG character. (Except for Female Hawke in DA2. She looked so cool.  )

I use de-fauuult. I believe that fem shepard's red hair and liara's blue skin make a good contrast;)

I always do custom Shepard for both gender's and they always turn out very good, though I'd like to make one or two changes for some of my custom sheps

My custom character always ended upblooking like a fish, so I stuck with the default one.

Definitely always custom, though I'd prefer that more games gave one the ability to make tweaks/changes in-game like DA2 did.

I play mostly female Shepards and always customize. The few male Shepard’s I have are default. I can’t imagine male Shepard with any other face.

I do both. Although I have more custom Sheps than I do default Sheps. In fact, I only have 2 default Sheps, male and female. All my 20+ other Sheps are custom, although none of them are meant to resemble me.

Custom Shep, using default Shep doesn't look right to me after my first remodelling of Shep.
