Custom Shep - Sheploo's face doesn't suit Meer's voicework in my mind.

Default Male Shepard.

I've got about 2 dozen Shepards. Most of the mansheps are default and all of the Femsheps are custom.

I never use the default of anything. I always have to put some of my personality in something before I use it.

I have 2 Custom male Sheps and 1 default
I have 2 custom Femsheps. (saving the default for ME3)

My "canon" Sheps are my Custom Shep Scott Shepard/Soldier) and Custom Femshep (ShannonShepard/Infintrator).

When I play the others it always seems off...even the dafault (but to a lesser degree now that they have marketed him as much)

Love customizing Femshep, but I cannot get any Maleshep to not look so beefy. Irks that there's no way to get Meer's cheekbones without being stuck with the entire default package.

I think I spent a solid hour in ME1 making a manshep to look like me. Every time I tweak him on import, I freak out a little because that was the most arduous hour of my life.

Custom.Only used default Shephale once and that was after like seven playthrough on ME1.

I use the default Sheploo appearance for my canon Shep.

Meer's voice doesn't really fit most of the custom Sheps I've seen posted, or tried to create myself. Most custom Sheps also invariable look like dorks who've got no business trying to save the galaxy, or like inbred rednecks who are the unfortunate victims of fetal alcohol syndrome.

Before someone rages at my post, I said *most* custom Sheps, not all. I'm sure yours is awesome.

This. If I could make a custom that didn't look asian or incredibly stupid, I'd probably go custom. Sheploo is very good though, although I wish you could at least change his eye color.

It's hard for me to make a male Shepard I can be happy with, it's just easier to use the default.

I'd want to give him a battle scar. But otherwise I'd keep it the same.

Default for both my male and female Shepard. I couldn't make a decent looking Shepard if I tried.

Custom shepard looks like something from cannon fodder. Voice doesn't sound right.
I wouldn't ever dream of making a femshep. I'm not a woman, i don't want to romance men, and i don't feel like having a sex change.

He looks better all prettied up with healed scars in game, pics didn't translate well, I just stole them off ME faces site. I darkened them both up slightly as well.

My paragon shep who is a soldier uses the default face, my renegade shep uses one of the presets.. forgot which one in sequence.

Always default male. I use textmod for the higher res face and custom looks like absolute crap in comparison.

A mix of everything. I made my first character myself, a female soldier, who looks good but not great. For my 2 male characters (one soldier, one vanguard) I picked the default because custom male faces look terrible all across the board. And my female vanguard, I copied it off the Mass Effect Faces site, translating the character code to ME1's slider to make her in ME1 and carry her to 2 (and I succeeded, because I manually put in the code in ME2 and compared it to the imported version that I made with the sliders in ME1... No differences between them, to the point that switching between the 2 showed the exact same face on both face selections). My female vanguard is the very popular Alma Shepard by the way.
