Default Jane, since that's who I've played since the beginning...as well as post walkthroughs with...
Do you make your own Shepard, or use the default?

Unless customization is a big deal for you, I'd suggest using the default. One voice for countless potential faces will never fit perfectly, whether it's hale or meer.
So yes, default it.

Created my own from day one, always using same face. Its almost impossible to change what you think is THE right shephard. Doesnt matter if you play default or not, thats your idea of your character, nuff said really.

My main Shepard is custom femShep. She is my maim Shepard because she is my only custom Shepard. I can not make custom male Shep that I like so Sheploo is my male Shep. Since he is not custom that Shep feels a bit more distant but at least he looks like real human and VA fits well.

I've been using a custom Shepard for a while. When ME 2 rolled out, I made a new one. Recently I just started using my old Shepard, still looks good, and original.

Whatever the hell i felt/feel like. Is it not the point? Is it not the Bioware standard? It was. It won't be anymore.

Disagree. I've never used default Shep, male of female. I have multiple playthroughs of both with Paragon Renegade, Renegon and Paragade variants.DominusVita wrote...

Despite using the same voice actor, each Shep has felt different, so I'd say if you want to use custom go for it.
That is unless you are one of those players that always makes the same choices and always plays the same class in which case I'd say why change from default.
I have no idea why you would do multiple playthroughs doing that but some folks do and if they enjoy it then why not?

Always custom.
I use the same custom Shepard in every playthrough.

Default. That's the only Shepard I can envision.
John Shepard, Earthborn, Sole Survivor, Soldier, Sheploo appearance.
I only ever use the default N7 armor too.

Always custom, male and female. Find it a lot more fun to play with a character of one's own creation or conception how that figure should look like.
But I have difficult improving on my maleshep, Mean Gene, so I only have one alternative here. In femsheps, I have two, Ice Queen and Medicine Woman.

It never even occurred to me to use the default faces.

I tried to take the custom route, but I'm worse than pathetic making "good looking" characters. After giving up, I just stuck with default. Besides though... I think the default male shep works really well anyway, so...

With the male version, Sheploo is generally better than anything I could create, tbh. For Femshep I actually felt like I could make a face that suited her better than the default, so that's what I did. But what I like to do is create a different look for every build, so there's the Paragade Soldier Sheploo, the Renegade Infiltrator (who I kind of based off Al Simmons of Spawn), the Paragon Sentinel, and Vanguard Femshep, each with their own look. Plus the extremely ugly guy I made for lolz.
