I went and preordered DA:O today from my local Gamestop. I still prefer having a disk over downloading it. I was told that they have received an email stating that Microsoft now has some sort of rights over DA and that they are only releasing it for the 360 come the 3rd and that the other two versions ofthe game will be out on the 17th.

Is Gamestop correct in this or are they misinformed?

Microsoft doesn't have any exclusivity rights with DA:O. Moreover, if they did, why would they delay release for Windows PC?



DA:O releases for all three platforms on the 3rd in North America.

As far as i know its still being released the 3rd in the US (plus some other places) and the 5th or 6th in the EU.

I think you've been a victim of gamestop syndrome. Its a disease that affects people who work for gamestop who actually think other human beings can't use google.

The GameStop in my area of PA said it is coming out on tuesday the 3rd.

I have had it preordered for about 6 months now for the CE via Gametop and as of 1 hour ago release date has not changed from 11/03.

So whoever told you the 17th for the pc is very much misinformed.

They probably confused you saying PC and thought PS3, which previously was scheduled for two weeks out of the 360 and PC ones.
