When you go to the Docks during Act 3, you can see a giant statue of a warrior holding a flaming sword and crushing the head of a kossith under his foot. My understanding is that this is supposed to be a commeration of the defeat of the Qunari at the end of Act 2.
On the base of the statue, there is a plaque. The writing on the plaque appears to be very similar to Arabic. Does anyone what the plaque says?
Also, if you go back to where the Qunari compound used to be, you can peer inside from behind a wall to see another large statue. Does anyone what that statue is supposed to represent? Why is it there if the compound has been sealed off?
Thanks!

Anyone???
I was really curious about this mystery! I could not find anything about it on the Dragon Age Wiki (http://dragonage.wik...Dragon_Age_Wiki).
Does anyone have any idea about this? ... even if it is just your own personal speculation or theory...

Well, if you're asking for *speculation* I can certainly provide that...
I don't know that the plaque is actually in a real (Thedan) language or is meant to look like one. I would imagine it says something about vanquishing the scourge of the Qunari - or maybe something about the light of justice never going out. Something inspiring, I'm sure.
As for the statue in the compound, I never noticed one. I did see the new banners in place, which have the sun/circle symbol. Some have speculated it's a Seeker symbol - however, it doesn't bear the eye that is on the epilogue tome (which may not be any official symbol/seal of the Seekers). Do you have a screenshot of the statue?
I'm sorry that I don't have anything definitive to answer your questions.

Thanks for responding!
As for the banners in the closed-off qunari compound, I think that it is general symbol of the Chantry and the Maker: that is, a sunburst symbol (http://dragonage.wik...om/wiki/Chantry).
I'll try to get a screenshot of the statue in the compound. (It is to the left of the banners as you are looking into the compound from behind the wooden fence, in case you want to look for it.)

I'll try and take a peek when I am back at my computer and can load up the game.
The banners make me wonder if either the land is being claimed in the name of the Chantry (which would be odd considering the distance from the main Chantry building) or if there is some sort of consecration of the grounds being conducted. But the latter wouldn't really work since no other area of great strife/bloodshed in Kirkwall has those banners (that I can recall). Hence...the Seeker speculation.
It may remain yet one more nagging little mystery.

The banners are the symbol of the Chantry, not the Seekers. I also have never noticed a statue in the compound. Will try and check it out myself as well.
