The women in Mass Effect are annoying.

They are.  But since I don't expect much from them and don't hang out with them, I get over it

Liara received a rehabilitation; I guess they can't have people disliking Virmire Survivor and Liara since they were the only romanceable options from that game.

While I disagree with your final conclusion, your observations aren't entirely untrue.

I would say though that the game offers enough diversity in this respect to find something/one you like. You must be one of those exceptions that proves the rule I guess...
