I spend a whole week building a large level. When I go into the single player to post it to local, it fails with the following error message: W: 20:21:25 - SanityCheck: Pathfinding format version out of date.  This data will not be exported.
I built this level with the current version of the toolset this week. I have 50 hours invested in this level. If I have to start over again, I want to know what I did wrong so I don't do it again.

Sounds like you changed something between your module and single player loading. There is nothing wrong with your level. You may need to run lightmaps in Single Player again before exporting. Or, you can select the model you moved or added and right-click it and run lightmaps on selected. Without knowing more about the specific contents of your level, I cant suggest more... but there is NOTHING WRONG with your level. Don't abandon it or start over yet.

One last suggestion, if you can still open the level without problem in either SP or your module, begin exporting parts of it as SELs so you can re-import your props, structure, vegetation, water, etc. That will save you tons of time later IF you do have to start over with the terrain mesh.

The toolset will always give an export warning if you move or change something since the last pathfinding generation as a Sanity Check. It 'should' still export regardless of what it is telling you.

I am so happy to hear that the level might not be a dead horse after all, so I don't have to shot it. At one point during the build of the level I defined the walkable area for the level and did a generate pathfinding. Later I changed my mind and wanted most of the level to be vista only. So I changed the defined area and clicked on generate pathfinding again. I wonder if that had something to do with the error. I can bring up the level in my own module or in single player. The level is the grounds of the Circle Tower: the tower, some Teventer ruins, a small dock. The majority of my time was spent building the tower and the ruins. If I need to save the level in pieces. Is there a way to group all of the models that comprise the tower and the models for the ruins? When I load the level for Ostagar, I noticed the tower models are all in a folder titled "Tower". Can I some how group all of my models into a folder titled tower?

I discovered how to group things into a folder, which is making my level a lot more organized.

Awesome! yes, you can group things together into folder and export entire groups as SELs. Fyi, you can also put all the lights into the same folders... in fact, you can put just about everything into folders except for the wind object, water mesh and start point.

I am getting another strange error message in a different level from the one I created earlier. It is (E: 10:19:40 - The same source texture (lmcir_gro_14c_1_1oy) occurs in more than one atlas.) I had added more trees after defining the area. I have not yet done any path finding of light maps. Do I have to remove the added trees?

I found the problem. I have made other levels but this one has been a pain in the neck. I changed the Lightmap to false in the inspector on all my vistas in the level. All error messages went away.

I spoke to soon. I am still having trouble with some chunks. I get this error message:E: 18:10:41 - The same source texture (lmcir_gro_5l_0_0) occurs in more than one atlas. The chunks that are affected look almost black. I tried repainting the chunks, but that doesn't help. Texture is also missing on some of the models and one oak tree.  Any ideas on how to fix it?
