Many people like Lair of the Shadow Broker. It features Liara so if you're one of her fans you'll see her a bit more. Arrival is the latest, I think reception was mixed-to-good. It should be noted that the events of Arrival are canon, so if you don't play it, the story of it happens anyway.

And a final DLC is Kasumi - Stolen Memory. Features a relatively different style of gameplay for the first half, as well as adding a squadmate. And I believe, though am not certain, that that squadmates (Kasumi) will be in ME3.

Kasumi - is a bit short, you get a squadmate, but it's an interesting DLC.
Lair of the Shadow Broker - features Liara, there's a lot more to it but is a couple bucks more. Lots of fun though.
Overlord - is kinda creepy and ultimately, sad. I really enjoyed it. Plus you get to explore in the Hammerhead.
Arrival is alright. Definitely not my favourite but Shepard goes alone if you like a challenge. Worth getting for other reasons already mentioned. :)

Kasumi is very good. Her bonus power is great. Her mission is also pretty fun.

I liked Overlord. Good music, fun mission.

Lair of the Shadow Broker is the best all around.

Arrival is ok. It pissed me off whenever I play it though.

LotSB is fantastic (especially if you're a Liara fan). I like Arrival though a lot of people I know don't. Overlord is OK, nothing special. Kasumi is fun, worth getting I reckon.

Kasumi (Stolen Memory) - If you only play Soldier or will never play Mass Effect 2 again, do not bother. If you play a class with tech skills (Engineer, Sentinel, or Infiltrator), then this DLC is a must. You can get a Tech Damage upgrade, allowing you to obtain 3 Tech Damage Upgrades early, which will unlock the Tech Cooldown upgrade. This DLC also includes a new SMG, the Locust, which is good for all classes except Soldier (which cannot use SMGs). It also features Flashbang Grenade as a new bonus power, and Kasumi as a squadmate.

Overlord - I highly recommend it. It is a collection of four missions (two of which are awesome) and a great ending. Includes a Heavy Skin Weave upgrade.

Lair of the Shadow Broker - If you only buy one DLC, buy this one. Two great missions back-to-back, with Liara as a squadmate. Also features damage upgrades for Pistols, Assault Rifles, SMGs, Sniper Rifles, and Shotguns. When you finish it, it includes a terminal that allows you to re-assign your squadmate's points - invaluable for squadmates with crappy bonus powers.

Arrival - You will either love it or hate it. You play this one solo for the most part. You have a squadmate briefly, but she is so useless you will wish you were alone. Includes a few upgrades (I forget which ones).

Firepower pack - If you want some new weapons to play with, get this DLC. Includes the Mattock assault rifle, Phalynx pistol, and Geth Plasma Shotgun. The Weapons are generally considered overpowered, though, so be warned if you do not like that kind of thing.

Inferno DLC (I think that is what it is called) - Includes the Inferno Armor (not worth it) and the Incisor sniper rifle. the sniper rifle is generally considered to be terrible on Shepard, but it is great on sniper rifle squadmates.

The Cerberus Network DLC is so-so, but still worth getting: Zaeed DLC (new squadmate with mission), Firewalker missions, Eviscerator shotgun.

Overlord sucks, worst DLC imho.
Lair of the Shadowbroker is the best.
Kasumi's DLC and Arrival are ok, but nothing special.

Zaeed's DLC. Zaeed is one of the most awesome squaddies in the game, and his Loyalty Mission will test you morality. Well worth getting for his introduction

Kasumi's DLC, another cool squaddie plus much needed additional weapon.

Lair of the Shadow Broker, a must if you romanced Liara in ME1 and want to stay faithful. Worth it for the ending, plus you get a ****-load of extra material (nothing much thats useful, but much fun)

Anything that gets you extra weapons and armour peices.

LotSB is one of the finest pieces of DLC I've ever played. Hell, it's one of the finest gaming experiences I've ever had.

And there's a truckload of goodies to amuse yourself with, once you've completed it.

LotSB is superb to be fair, it also gives a chance to develop the story with Liara if you were romancing her.

Kasumi is good with a slightly different loyalty mission.

Zaeed is another good DLC. His loyalty mission is not the best but i think he is one of the best squadmates. On my last runthrough of ME2 i think i took Zaeed on every mission.

Bottom line. If i could only get one...for gameplay it would be LotSB.

The Arrival worth to buy before the ME3 demo? Makes anything feels, experience differently?
I know, it will doesn't matter, because you will get a pre-maded Shepard and your ME 1-2 decisions doesn't count. i just saw the thread and thought to ask. :)

Umm.. haven't played/looked at the demo yet, but I think arrival will be nice in terms of the me3 storyline in general. So if the demo covers first bits of the story, then it might be helpful in explaining some things and/or giving a better feeling of continuity.

The events in arrival are canon, so they happen whether you play it or not - so it's kind of a choice between reading/hearing about what happened or actually playing through it.
and if you haven't hit any spoilers yet, perhaps playing through it will be nicer.

Since we're in ME1 forums I'd like to know if any of the ME1 DLCs are worthwhile?
