So I'm looking for info of whats happened in the DA timeline so far and (if any) lead ups to what MAY come. Basiclly I dont want the content of my mods conflicting with what Bioware has already laid out for us. Apparently there are comics?
Long story short, I'm looking for any background information from any source thats available.
(Can't have a character making an apprearance 3 years after they were killed or while they were supposedly in another town at the same time for instance)
Given time I'll move on to an almost completely new set of companions, places and such but it will be a gradual change, one that reflects the passing of time and reaching the limits of character development. I'd like it to feel like there is nothing more we can learn about that individual before we inevitably say our last farewell. An extension of what is already there gives a feeling of depth, continuity and while at times it may feel like a different story, its all parts of the lager scale situation. No blight will be defeated for good in one sitting. For me, we simply don't know enough ABOUT the darkspawn to plan a more permanent victory.
Exactly how do they come to being in such number? WHERE exactly do they come from? Are they merely mass produced from broodmothers? The Architect, was he the only one like that? or were there others differing slightly? Where exactly are these so-called old gods? HOW do they get tainted? Why do they go on a murdering spree after? following commands of a greater entity? or just lashing out in pain and suffering? What has all this got to do with the Black City? Is it really a mere farytale? Why doesn't the maker intervene? Is S/He really that p***ed at the people? or is the maker unABLE to help? There are so many more questions I dont have atm.
With that in mind, from my perspective, The stories of DA, The Grey Wardens and The Blight are far from finished.
