Tech Armor stacks with any of the shield powers, yes? Barrier/Fortification/GSB?

In theory, couldn't you just become a walking tank? (at least, on a difficulty that ISN'T Insanity?)

Anyone ever attempted this? Or is it basically just pointless?

It's not worth it. Assault Armor is the best protection available.

It's a waste. AA already lets you tank in such a way that guns aren't needed on Insanity.

If you want to play as an indestructible tank, I would suugest taking Shield Drain instead. It has an awesome synergy with Tech Armor and it functions just like Overload. So striping away shields and/or targeting syntethic health basically makes you almost completely invincible, even on Insanity.

^ Yeah, that'll pretty much take the Sentinel over the top. The only thing it doesn't do is set off explosives.. but then again, you are the bomb.

Stacking Tech Armor with GSB would be annoying since the cooldown on GSB lasts about half of the mission.
