All this talk of revamping the Citadel to its original splendor but in a unique way really excites me. I actually like ME2 more overall, but I can't deny there are certain aspects of ME1 that I preferred. The Citadel was one of them.

Oh great, so they're also doing the reasons to be afraid thing.
It will surely be a huge shock when they release another article talking about reasons to be optimistic in a few hours.

Sometimes he IS trolling, like: "5. They won't bring back the choice", but when you read it, it just seems like a wild guess

1. Frankly, if they didn't go out all out, it would be a wasted opportunity. They've been building up this galactic war for two games now. If they toned it back to avoid the cliche of being bigger than the previous game, it would be a disservice to the franchise.
2. They've been building the Reapers up for two games now. There's no point holding back further until the end of ME3.
3. The SP will most likely be of comparable length to ME1 and ME2 (around 30 hours), so the SP alone is worth the price of the game. The MP is thrown in on top of that.
4. Firstly, the scene in London is clearly meant to be an homage to War of the Worlds, not some 'shock tactic'. Secondly, GALACTIC WAR.
5. Unsubstaniated. Of course it'll be dissapointing if they don't bring back choice, but there is no reason to believe that Bioware would abandon ME's main draw. Indeed, based on the script, this game has an awful lot of choices.
6. Is he saying he suddenly wants everyone's motives to change to make your choices a little more surprising? Very daft point.
7. *shakes head*

That whole thing about the Reapers being scarier when you don't see them was utter nonsense. They've spent 2 games talking about this looming threat, and now you want them to be on the sidelines, and not be a visible threat? That's stupid. He also was reading wayyyyy too much into the big ben thing.
