Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition

I initially bought all of the content for DAO way back when it originally came out (including the Awakening expanion and all of the DLCs), but I was thinking of purchasing the Ultimate Edition anyway. Here is why: I now live in an area with really poor internet connection, so I would really not wish to re-download all of the DLCs; since the Ultimate Edition has now become really cheap, I was thinking of maybe just purchasing it so that I would not have to download anything.
Here is my question: does the Ultimate Edition (for PC) contain all of the content (original game, expansion, and DLCs) on DVD? Is there anything at all that I need to download? (I am talking about even the really minor DLCs, like the Feast Day packs.)
The reason I ask is that some of the reviewers on Amazon said that the DLCs are NOT actually on DVD but have to be downloaded; other reviewers, on the other hand, said that the Ultimate Edition contains absolutely everything on DVD. Which is it? Can anyone confirm the truth for me?
I really appreciate your help with this! Thanks!

However, an internet connection is required to unlock the content that is referred to as "dlc." That content will not be playable until it is unlocked by registering your game here. As well, any content that is coded as being given as a bonus for registering your game with Bioware will not be provided (Blood Armor breastplate comes to mind here for some reason) until the game is registered.
Unforturnely, that can create problems for those of us who play DAO on a computer that is not connected to the internet.

The content is all there on the DVD, as far as I recall. It all installs from the DVD.

Thank you very much for your response!
For myself, my computer is usually connected to the internet at all times, but it is just that the speed can be very slow for downloading large files (like some of the story-based DLCs).
There is also the general convenience of having the entire DAO saga as a hard copy: easier to re-install if something happens to my computer. This is especially true since the Ultimate Edition has become so cheap these days.
Thanks again!

I'm in a similar situation, just bought the Ultimate Edition and only managed to install it AFTER I had already redeemed the code to to unlock the content pack. It said "Code successfully redeemed! NOTE: You may need to refresh your wallet balance in-game before content will appear in-game." but I don't see how to "refresh wallet balance in-game", How do I know if the DLCs have been activated in my installation or not ?
If I remember correctly, when you are on the game's main menu, there should be a DLC section. Click on it, and then somewhere on the new screen, there should be a refresh button. Sorry that I can't be of any more help! Someone else might want to confirm this....

NO , u wont need to DL them , just installed the game using both DISCS , it will install the DA Origins , DA Awakening and all the DLC packs , after that u have to go online, using ur Bioware acc which u most likely login in ur DA with , REDEEM PROMO CODE , enter the DLC codes and ur done , when u start ur game , login and ur contents will all be available , simple !
If u still confuse don't worry , when u buy the game the game will have a guide on how to do everything , even for CHEATS well thats wat they wrote here , me too just bought the game yesterday XD

Thanks for the response! One more quick question: should I still redeem the DLC codes even if I have already have previously purchased them separately?
Let me reiterate my situation: I purchased DAO, Awakening, and all of the DLC packs a long time ago when they initially came out. However, I have recently moved to an area that has very slow internet connection, so I do not want to have to re-download all of the DLC everytime I need to re-install the game. With the Ultimate Edition being so cheap these days, I kinda want to just have everything on a DVD hard-copy. More convenient for me!
So, then, should I redeem the DLC codes that are in the Ultimate Edition box? Or, will logging in with my Bioware account after installing everything automatically authenticate all of the content (without needing to redeem the DLC codes in the UE box)? Just wondering...
Thanks again!
