I believe that when you first enter and talk to Wynne you tell her you're doing exactly what the Templars want and then once again once you reach the top of the tower before the fight with Uldred. I haven't done this one yet myself as I HATE losing party members.

once you get up to the top of the tower you can agree with cullen that the circle must be purged or alternately after you fight Uldred and go back and talk with Gregor tell him that they cannot risk letting even one blood mage escape.

Suppose you kill the Wynne when you first meet her in the tower, where she is protecting the kids. Just my guess.

You can side with the templars and not lose Wynn.  When talking to Cullen say "I can't decide until I see the situation for my self" and don't commit to killing the circle.  Then after the battle with Uldred when you are talking to Gregor say that they can't allow even one blood mage to escape this will anull the circle and get you the templar army without losing Wynn.

Just don't use the litany during the Uldred fight and let him kill all of the mages. You'll get the sided with the templars achievement and you'll be able to keep Wynne even.

On my first play though I killed wynn and had to train Morrigan to heal. Worked out well, actually.

When Cullen requests that all the Circle Mages should be suspected as being Maleficars at the very end side with him. That is all you need to do.

funny part is allistar is still mad at you but you sided with templars decision figured he'd understand or atleast not go -10 on me

I don't know Cullen is very obviously nutty from seeing all his comrades killed.

easy, when you finish the circle (i did the obvious mage choices), if you have first enchanter with you, you talk to gregoir. You have 2choices, you can say it's safe now, and you can't sacrifice innocent (side with mages), or it's not safe and they should investigate on mages, still better to sacrifice some to be sure there is no blood mage left (side with templar).
