I like them all to some extent, but:

Favourites: Jack, VS, Samara, Tali, Liara, Wrex
Least Favourite: Jacob. Then Garrus/Thane.

Ash speaks of God in the male singular and mentions her father watching (the dead having an awarenss of the living)....So that suggests a monotheistic religon with an afterlife concept, that removes a lot of Religons/Spiritualities from the equasion and only leaves a handful in question.

But as for Miranda, play her loyalty mission. She earns your empathy. 

Oh, and, uh...

Garrus couldn't possibly be more adorable in Mass Effect 2. That and Kelly, considering nothing's more romantic than knowing there are more messages in your private terminal.

But Samara? That's just weird. Shepard's 29 (or 31, chronologically), and she's 1,000. If you ask me, it's not just bizarre that pursuing that was an option, but that it was even an option. Thank goodness it went unfulfilled.

Samara is still a matron, so she's actually around 650 - 700...not that that makes a difference.

Favorite is Garrus -Shep's bro and Space Batman. Come on...SPACE. BATMAN.

 Favorites: My favorite squad member would have to be Ashley. There's just so much about her, it's unbelieveable. She is more of an actual human, plus she has a great background story. My second favorite woulds have to be Kasumi because she seems like a hardcore BA but really she's like Ashley she has feelings especially when it comes to her romantic interest. Third favorite would be Wrex because he has a great story and it's just awesome in general. Fourth would definitly be Mordin, he's funny as hell and plus i cant understand anything he says. Then Garrus comes... he's just awesome.

Least Favorites: Kaidan first because i hate that voice, i hated it in Star Wars and i hate it now plus he wines alot so i killed him off everytime i played. Next would be Jacob because first of all his body is shaped exetremely weird and also there's nothing to him except crunches. Then Zaeed, Grunt, and Jack. 

Everyone else on the team was fine to me.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand the entire "Kaidan is whiny" bit? I can understand the voice complaint (because I'm not a huge fan of it either), but he never came off as unduly whingey to me.

It's hard to choose between Mordin, Zaeed, Legion, or [ME3 SPOILER SQUADMATE 1].

As for most hated, Jacob. He has never once suggested any good ideas. "I don't trust Thane" "Let's stop building our team and head through the reay now" "let's toss Legion out of an airlock" "I'll do the hacking, Shepard."

Thane/Garrus. Top notch squaddies. Supportive awesome bro's who take the "Follow Shep in and out of Hell" bit very seriously. (Well I suppose all the squadmates do, maybe it's my heaad canon that make them seem Uber-loyal.

Least Fave... The rest are all adored and even more so now that I have actually played ME1. Ash, Kaidan, Wrex, Liara, all are awesome. Except Jacob and at times Zaeed. Jacob because I find him very cardboard and boring, plus I don't appreciate being forced to flirt with him. (Also hearing "Niiiiiiiice" everytime I headshot a merc makes me sneer at the TV, not a pleasant, or entirely sane expression to explain away when someone aske what the Tv did to offend me so.) Zaeed cause he is... Mr. Cellophane. I usually forget he exists.
