My favourite characters are Tali, Wrex and Kasumi.

I don't really hate any of the characters but I found Jacob to be a bit blah and Liara from ME1 was kinda annoying not so much in ME2.

Actually now that I think about it I hate the reporter.

I'm not very pleased with how they're portrayed in the ME3 script, however.

Most loved: Ash.
Least loved: Liara / Jack

Yeah, Liara made it down again. Funny - she's the only character that kinda wanders on the scale between "hate (0) and love (10)". She's currently a 4, which means "keep things professional and everything is fine". Also means everyone else is above her.
This might vary - she was in my top fives a while ago. ^^
There's a high chance Liara will raise in ranks again - or fall down to a 1 or 2 depending on ME3. If she's shoved in my face a tad too often, she might fall. If she's with me and does her job then I'm okay, but please, BW, don't make her super essential for the story. There are 16 characters or so, plus Shepard. The universe isn't saved by Shepard + Liara only

Jack's there as well - she made it from a 2 or so up since I know her better now. However, I'm not into tattooed punk girls, therefore won't romance her - which also might give her more points.

Favourite: Garrus, followed closely by Mordin, Legion, Tali, Wrex and Liara.

Least favourite: There are no characters on the squad that I actively dislike, but I've always been pretty apathetic towards Jacob and Kaiden, so I guess one of those two. Or possibly Ash - I don't dislike her, but I don't particularly like her either.



Best: Miranda, as her abilities are the most useful on the battlefield, or any character who can use the Incisor sniper (Zaeed, Garrus, Thane and Legion) as in the hands of the game's AI that tears through enemies like nobody's business.

Worst: Jacob and Mordin are, imo, pretty useless on the battlefield compared to most of the others

As I didn't play the first game I can only pass my opinion on ME 2 members.

Favorites:
Garrus and Grunt are funny. Legion is cool and Miranda is one tough cookie (She reminds me Morrigan from Dragon Age:Origins)

Hate:
Zaeed: His personality uglier than his face. I was overjoyed when I can kill him in his loyality mission.
Mordin: Because of geonophage. He talks so much too.
Tali: I hate all Kettleheads I've met in ME 2. Also she reminds me Merrill from Dragon Age 2 but worse than her in many ways. Common point, they're both stupid.

Favorites: A 4-way tie between Wrex, Miranda, Thane and Jack. Heh 4-way...oh drop it. And the bonus is that they all got mad skillz in combat (Jack is only mad skilled in house clearing, but that mad skill ain't matched by anyone else).

Worst: Tali & Liara. Bioware, if you're gonna try and shove sh*t into my face, at least try to be subtle about it. At least Liara's a decent fighter. Tali is useless against anything other than a walking pile of bolts & nuts.

Garrus: Bad *ss with a heart of gold.
Kasumi: Upbeat tension breaker, always a bright light and brilliant in battle.
Legion: Most fascinating and thought provoking dialog in the game.
Thane: I just really like his quiet unassuming ways.
Kaidan: Sweet guy...I like him.
Samara: Very interesting and I can understand how tormented she must feel.
Zaeed: He sounds like my dad when he laughs.

Okay:

Jacob: Annoys me with some of his comments, but doesn't really bother me.
Jack: I understand why she is the way she is, but pass.
Tali: Too sweet...not fond of the one eyed view of Geth either.
Ash: This is a woman who really just needs to zip it and listen for a change, she would learn a great deal.

Dislike:

Miranda: Heartless, ruthless and nasty.
Liara: Too soft in ME1, tranformed into Miranda in ME2.
Mordin: Just a personnal thing, he is way too chaotic and has too much power coupled with not enough wisdom in yielding it.
Wrex and Grunt: Krogan are blood thirsty war mongers....I really don't like.

Grunt and Miranda at times I like at times I really don't like, I'm gonna be a bit bummed if I don't get a full time Krogan Squadie in ME3 Krogans are really cool and have some of the coolest special dialogue in the ME games.

Hate TALI, under Tali's mask she's really Morinth because the way Tali's fans/cult act you'd swear she was real and that there was no one else in the universe

Least favourites (I dont really hate any characters) are Liara & Jacob. They just dont do anything for me at the moment.

I really love every character but if I had to put them in a list, Liara and Kaidan would be near the top and Zaeed and Wrex would be near the bottom.

I actually really love Morinth for some reason, I wish they had let us explore her character more after letting her join the crew. Plus her voice is seeeexxxy and so is her VA.
