My Dragon Age characters suddenly stopped updating to my bioware social profile. I've searched for answers, and found other threads about this, but running profile diagnostics come back blean, I've made explicit saves, created a new character, etc.

The only thing I have done is made sure I don't have two personas, but I can't figure out how that would even work. Help?

And apparently the technical support forms are broken, as well, so this is pretty much the only way to get support for this site. loooovely...

In case anyone stumbles upon this thread looking for answers: if you're using the dev console for cheats, bug fixes, or any other reason, your characters will not update. Deactivate the console, load your game up, make a new save, and it should upload your story.
If this sounds like a lot of hassle, here's what I'm doing:
  • Enable the console by editing the
DAOriginsLauncher.xml  file, as decribed here: http://dragonage.wik...nsole_(Origins)
  • Make a second copy of the XML file in the same folder; renamed
    DAOriginsLauncher.xml.old
  • In this file, remove the extra line you added to enable the console.
  • For convenience sake, create a shortuct to the
…\\Dragon Age\\data\\ folder on your desktop/quick-launch bar etc.
  • When you want to play with the conole, use your standard console-enabled XML file. When you're done with your session, or you want to upload your story progress, go to the
…\\Dragon Age\\data\\  folder via your shortuct, rename the modded XML file
DAOriginsLauncher.xml.new, and the DAOriginsLauncher.xml.old file to
    DAOriginsLauncher.xml.
  • Start the game, load your save, and create a new save.
  • Switch the XML files back.
  • Lather, rinse repeate.
