When you get to the door at the top of the stairs, open it and walk through the game immediately crashes. I've tried restarting the mission, walking on different spots, trying to find another way, turning down the graphics, every possible idea. Nothing works and it is impossible to complete the mission (and game) without it. And I'm already patched to the latest version which didn't help either.
I'm pretty annoyed, the ME games have been wonderful stories but buggy as hell! After the trouble I had installing ME1 and now this!
Crash in Warlord mission.

1) Try another save, preferably from before you started that mission.
2) Reinstall the game, or verify cache integrity if a Steam version.
If neither of those work, post a full error report as per the "Read First" thread.

Already tried a save from before the mission and it's not a steam version.

With ME3 out today I decided I'd try this again. went for the reinstall option and decided I could post the details if it didn't work afterwards. Only now I get an installation error at about 75%
