I was surprised when I first heard that Chobot is voice acting in mass effect, but her character looks pretty good ( even when I have no idea who she is and where she came from ) Rest of the cast is really solid though, why wasn't mark meer in the video though ?

I'm happy to see that Liara looks so good in ME3 and that Jessica Chobot's character looks stunning.

There's going to be a hard choices to choce LI in ME3. Sooooooo many good choices out there...

Glad your (mostly) liking the video. I do think the cast is pretty damned fine and they all do a great job in ME3.

I've loved Martin Sheen ever since Apocalypse Now and I've said before that The Illusive Man is my favorite character across all 3 games.

I would follow Keith David into battle just to listen to him shout orders at me. Forget the fact that he was Childs or that he fought Roddy Piper in the alley. Anderson is THE man.

I got to meet and talk to Jennifer Hale at SDCC and PAX last year. She is possibly the most charming and friendly actor I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Plus, when I met her at PAX after SDCC, she remembered who I was which inflated my ego 10 points that day.

Let me tell you my Ali Hillis story. She was at SDCC and did a signing on our stage for fans. Eventually here handler (an agent, friend or someone) had to remind her she was late for an appointment and she had to go immediately. As she was leaving, a fan in a Liara costume was talking to me and Ali stopped and came over exclaiming how great it was to see her character. When her handler reminded her she was late, she said "but this is ME, I have to get some pictures" and she took the time to have pictures taken with the Liara fan and signed some dedictaed autographs to her on the way out. It isn't every celebrity that would take the time to appreciate a fan like that.

I know there are still people who just don't "get" James Vega. All I'll say is wait till you actually meet him. Freedie Prinz Jr will change your mind.

Jessica Chobot is a Mass Effect fan and has been since the first game. I'm glad they used her not only because she does a great job in the role, but someday I may get to meet her now.

So many awsome cast members. Seth Green/Joker, Tricia Helfer/Edi, Carrie- Ann Moss/Aria, etc.

have you watched the video shes a total tramp and Chobot has not previous voice acting jobs at all! Sgt Stryker why you be such a female down stairs part?!

I had no idea who Jessica Chobot was until this announcement, and maybe thats a good thing as i dont have a preconceived notion of her. Same thing when DA2 came out with Felicia Day.

As long as she does her job well i couldnt care less who voices who.

Jessica looks a bit off, but I'd still hit it.

More brilliant BSN logic, folks: Saluting a ship's commander = being a "total tramp"

On Chobot's lack of voice acting experience: well I guess I'll be the judge of that when I play the game. If BW can pull off portraying a believable embedded war journalist, with an inexperienced voice actress to boot, then more power to them.

I understand Chobot is a fan and that's great, the more the merrier. But being a fan =/= being a good choice for a voice actor. She may be phenomenal. If so, good for her, anything that improves the atmosphere of the game I am all for. If not, however, a role that could have gone to an actual, skilled VA went to a stunt choice and the scenes she's in may suffer for it.

They might be keeping them for other videos like the one for Prinze Jr/Vega. I remember them saying there will be more of those.

As for the video, everything looks great from graphics to music. I thought animations looked a bit off in the Vega video, but in this one they look just fine.

I think Chobot is kind of an odd choice but it's pointless to bash the game because of this. I mean ME games have one of the greatest VO casts in gaming, so I'd assume whoever is responsible for the casting knows what they're doing.
