Jessica Chobot? Really? She's as fake as anything about her "love for videogames" - I wouldn't be surprised if she never even played ME before this role. Not happy with that choice. And uncanny valley galore on her character! Nice t1ts though. Hmmm... t1ts.
Really? I think her love of videogames and ME is pretty genuine. I remember her excitement back when ME 2 was being shown off at E3, it was pretty much the only game she cared about.

Talk about buying reviews - there's no way in hell IGN are going to give ME3 a **** review now even if it turned out to be the worst pile of horse apples in the history of gaming.
Edit - Not saying they really did it to buy the review, but that's how people could view the inclusion of a character like this.

I'm pretty sure they're paying HER to do VA work, not IGN.

Yeah, some people are that stupid.
That's why there are groups believing that we never went to space or that the earth is flat.

Not to mention she barely works for IGN now anyway. And she never reviewed anything, she was a host.RiouHotaru wrote...

And on top of that, her Mass Effect fandom is well documented. Anyone who follows her on twitter knows this.

I understand that people are concerned about Jessica...but it makes sense. Rather than find someone to act like they're a reporter, they found someone who is actually a reporter. That doesn't seem too far-fetched. And I remember there being some sort of fan group trying to get her in the game like a year ago. Bioware listens to fans. I highly doubt they would aimlessly throw her in the game without making sure she could do a good job. I'm not worried...I think it's actually kind of cool.
That kind of logic falls a little flat to me, though. Why not have a scientist play a scientist? Why not an actual Admiral to play an Admiral? Regardless of what one does for a living, it doesn't mean they'll be good at acting out that same role.
Note: I'm not saying she'll be bad! Not pre-judging here, folks!
It doesn't really fall that flat though. Admirals, scientists, etc. aren't social jobs. You don't stand in front of a camera or a crowd with a mic as an Admiral/scientist/whatever else.
She may not have experience, but her job transitions well for her character while most other don't...at all.

Wow. Is this really come from Mass effect in the game ?
Very, realistic, I am impressed.
If there wasn't the trailer, I would never believe it was Mass effect related !
Diana seems really interesting and I must admit she is cute.
Otherwise, the bsn is really complaining about a voice for a character ? That sounds dumb and weird. Do they need to be all actors or stars ?
In Skyrim, awesome game, I don't remember any guy known hired by Bethesda, just be glad with what you have for the love of god. * roll eyes *

Agreed their casting of Sheen as TIM is right up there with David Warner as Jon Irenicus. His last line and sly grin was a nice top off for the video "I'm not done yet."

Except that her "reporting" only ever requres she acts peppy, or uninterested. An actual reporter has to have a range of emotions and unless they're pulling another Michael Dorn here and she'll literally be in the game for about 5 minutes, there's a very good chance that she'll have more than enough lines to need to be able to portraya human realistically. She's not playing a reporter, she's playing a person that just happen to report. Any Joe Schmoe can get on camera and parrot out news bites, but to then play as something more than that, isn't easy.MELTOR13 wrote...
