Still, this kind of info is way, way more interesting than combat demos.  Characters and VAs hold my interest way more than gunz

Vega is a freaking beefcake. No man would fight against somebody like that and not have their noses bloodied, unless he would be some kind of super martial artist like Bruce Lee.

Shepard is already a Mary Sue that can kill anything, do we really have to complain about something that shows a little more realism for a change?

This looks like one of those moments where Shepard is addressing some personal concern of a crew member.  I think Shepard is bad ass enough that hes just letting Vega vent.

Wow, Shepard has a Bloody Nose. I can't recall ever seeing Shepard bleed. And it's from Vega. Vega is gonna give my FemShep a bloody nose...then punch her in the gut. lol. Okay....he's such a flirt, huh? (I love that lil smirk Vega has when he's cracking his knuckles).

FemShep! I think you can get a bit of the front facial view in the part where the room is blowing up. If you're quick...and zoom in......

I also noticed FemShep's hands. Or, their movement, really. When the room was blowing up. They definitely have a more feminine style/movement about them.

Oh! And yes, I think that was Kai Leng'...body in the vid. Standing over the sitting TIM. He's got the flare coat thing.

Color me intrigued, BW.

The tank top, however, was an...interesting choice. Isn't she cold? A lil snug fitting t-shirt woulda been better. I don't even care about the cleavage showing. It's just the tank top looks...goofy. lol.

I never thought I'd say this but... that better be a quick time event. I want the chance to defend myself(or reload my save trying).

Lol! For real, tho. Just as long as Shep as a chance to pop Vega in the nose right back..it's cool. I mean, you know Shep has gotta be taking it easy on the guy. Shepard took on a darn Yahg after all.

If anything, Shepard should be able to lay out Vega with one punch, if not outright kill him. Let's not forget about that little thing called the Lazarus Project....

Or ya know, Lisa Foiles, since she's got actual gaming cred, runs a gaming news site by herself and has both VA and live action acting work. But sure, let's replace one person who just uses the same rising tone pattern for every sentence for another.

Chobot has no gaming cred?  Aside from working for IGN, you've seen the damned video of her talking about ME - she's obviously a fan.  As for whether or not she can act, I imagine she had to pass an audition; I doubt they just let her have the role for the hell of it.  Acting roles have to start somewhere - and hers is probably just a supporting one - it's not like they've thrust her into a main role.  And look at Tricia Helfer; barely any acting experience and she managed to get a role in BSG very early on in her career.

Yes, I particularly liked the way that the only Mass Effect term she used was "Krogan". Foiles has written long editorials about her favorite games, going into actual detail about what she did and didn't like about the stories, characters, gameplay systems, etc. She's also written on gaming culture as a whole, analyzing it on multiple levels. Chobot on the other hand did nothing other than read off a teleprompter because she didn't want to play Tetris or Snake on a phone.

So yes, Foiles is a more reputable source.

Better question: why does it matter? We don't know the entire contex of the scene anyway. Maybe he gets Hulkamania at the end and knocks Vega the **** out. Maybe not. Doesn't matter either way.

You know I am usually the biggest stickler about armor and I have complained heavily, but while I think she looks wierd in that tanktop I don't have a problem with her wearing it.

Unless she is a combat reporter while still wearing that silly tanktop, then I will complain.

I just wish that Bioware could just create unique characters and then choose the best VA rather than building a character after a popular gaming celebrity if that makes any sense.

I don't need to follow her career. Her CV is up on the internet for all to see. Nothing I see there has prepared her for a VO role in what is, debatably, one of the most anticipated video game sequels of all time. I said before I'd give her a chance, but I have every right to be skeptical of how she'll perform.

I share your concerns guys. Especially, given how beautiful and detailed (in terms of graphics) Diana's model looks, I think that she must be somehow important to the story. And giving an (semi-)important role to someone with so little experience... I don't know... sounds like unnecessary risk to me.

And also, I am not sure if somebody mentioned it here, but Liara pointing a gun at Illusive Man's hologram at 0:18 looked rather strange to me , though maybe it was just a spontaneous reflex.

Otherwise, the trailer was amazing and all actors looked like they had a good time playing the characters in ME3.

Yes, God forbid we express any reservations we might have or, you know, our OPINIONS. It's quite clear you're keen on White Knighting for her but please pay attention. It's not the footage that's been shown that is the issue. It is the unknown quantity of her ability to voice act that is the main concern and the reasons behind her casting above skilled and experienced VAs. If she legitimately auditioned and earned the role, good for her. If she didn't and this is a stunt move designed to draw in players, then that is not such a good thing.
