Thirded.  Both Shepards are genetically engineered for badassery to start with at the very minimum, while Vega obviously is too, that means that FemShep is quite capable even if you chose to ignore what was said above.

Shepard is tough, no matter which gender Shepard is.

I'm also of the opinion that its awesome that Shep got bloodied in his/her bout with Vega.

 First, let me say that I respect Jessica Chobot. I like her as a journalist and she's a great addition to the podcasts (mainly "Feedback") that I've seen her on. She's also a very beautiful person. With that said, the character models do not do her justice.

When I was doing martial arts training, it was a mixed group. On occassions the ladies were put to spar against one of the guys, those with higher belts could certainly pack a punch for their size. Add Fem Shep's badassery, I could see her doing that too.

Y'know, I recall a bit out of the ME 2 cast reveal in which Seth Green said that he'd been trying very hard to get screen time with T. Helfer, and was sorely dissapointed their first pairing put him in as Joker with his brittle bones and her as a disembodied voice.

I saw my first Tae Kwon Do instructor, at 105lbs max, break a rock with her bare hands.  I weighed 220 lbs at fighting weight back in the day, and she was able to hurt me and throw me around if I wasn't absolutely careful.  There were several other girls in class equally capable of injuring much larger males.  Does that mean that male weight advantages don't matter?  Of course not, but saying a woman can't fight like that is just plain stupid.

Considering she's "enhanced" I'm sure she could knock his head off if she were so inclined.  She did go hand-to-hand witha freakin' Yahg afterall.
