Whoops, probably should have posted this here, as it's the 'official thread'. Anyway re Chobot's character: I hope you're at least able to kill her or let her die - hopefully in some epic renegade way. Chobot annoys me and her little campaign to get herself in the game annoyed me further. Can't believe that Bioware would ACTUALLY end up putting her in the game though. She's not a voice actor. She's not even an actress. She's just that woman from IGN. Wish I hadn't seen the trailer but then again, seeing as the character model even looks like her, I'm pretty sure I would have put two and two together. She had better have a tiny, tiny role. And you better be able to kill her.
Stop hating on chobot! she's hawt.

I remember the mission for acquiring Jack from the prison ship that the lights on my kestrel armor were green but actually are blue since those combat areas were completely shaded with a yellow/red hue?

The only thing I'm worried is that since I used to watch her all the time on IGN and her G4TV show, when I'm in game ill keep thinking to myself that Jessica Chobat is on my ship...?
I won't lie, this will be a challenge for me too given I have followed her career. There is no Allers, it JESS!!!!
Hopefully I can suspend my imagination long enough to seperate the two.

It looks like she is wearing a wierd swimsuit, it hugs way too tight when it should be loose which makes this weird stretch effect, her cleavage leaves this large naked spot on her neck which awkwardly stands out... I think they were going for the tough female look (like the pilot from avatar, or ripley from aliens) but I think they utterly failed in that regard.
And this is before the bad lighting that highlights the uncanny valley effect that is rather displeasing to me.
I have no opinion on the actual character until I learn more (in fact I am interested in a war reporter on the ship), but visually my first opinion is entirely negative.

On the subject of the new character's outfit... I have to say I don't like it. Its not because its overly sexualized (in fact she probably has the most appropriate opportunity to wear such clothing, she isn't preestablished to be against such sexualization, and finally we know little about her as a character), but because, frankly, I think it looks like crap.

Least you can conjure up a reason for your displeasure, I can respect that. Wish more people would post this way (wishful thinking)
I generally don't care about the outfit, it isn't my character so I've never been concerned with their attire.

And you're somehow better for defending it? We're all on a message board for Bioware games. We're supposed to be happy or disappointed over news about the game. You're here too. Glass house. Stones. Pot. Kettle. Etc.

Its a great example of how awesome the ME engine can be when it portrays clothing lol.

I wonder if TIM's eyes are really going to be green instead of blue. Maybe it's just the effect of the yellow hue from the hologram that is making them appear green.

No you're right, in ME2 he had the glowy eyes that they sort of explain in ME: Evolution. But his eyes lack that creepy fluorescent tinge now... Plot point anyone?
Is it March yet?

Yikes I just discovered that she is wearing a DRESS not a tanktop, that is... some dress there.

Yeah I'm here, and you have the right to disappointed if you see fit, what you fail to mention is that unlike you I'm not gonna make a total assumption or opinion on a character until I play the game in full.
I wasn't defending anything, but the fact you want to go overboard not playing the game yet and seeing a few seconds of a character in game is simply a stupid notion.
Unless you work for Bioware, you're in the ****ing dark about why she's in the game or ultimately what role she'll have in the game. So to spew nonsense that she's in the game to give geeks wood is moronic, just like clearly you're a moron.
So do me a favor, take your kettle and sit on it. I'm done dealing with you clown.

I don't see how people can dislike her. I've chatted with her before on IGNs boards and she seems like a cool person. But hey, that's just my opinion.
