Is it true Jessica Chobot from IGN is in Mass Effect 3? She looks fantastic in real life but she looks a bit strange in that game footage. Perhaps it's a prank. I remember when IGN did that infameous Legend of Zelda film trailer which turned out to be an April Fools Day joke.

It's true, she is in Mass Effect 3. She's some kind of an Alliance reporter on the Normandy.

It's true, she is in Mass Effect 3. She's some kind of an Alliance reporter on the Normandy.

Well at least she's well casted. Don't know what her performance is going to be like.

Also the oddness of her looks in the trailer seems to be caused by the lighting pushing her into the uncanny valley a bit too much.

Also I was a bit taken back by Jessica Chobot doing the voice of reporter but I can live with it especially if Shep summons her to his cabin for an in depth interview!

At least chobot is getting a small role. Wont be so bad if she is terrible.
I am not a hater of Felicia Day. I think the guild is a pretty good show however man was she terrible in dragon age 2..... Every squadmate/companion in bioware games were amazing. She was just BAD.
I am nervous about her since she isnt even an actress. Felicia day was(though nothing major).

@zaxares I dont see the resemblance tbh...probably age gap.

About chobot's looks in game. It looks a little off(way to much eye shadow) but not much but I remember when miranda was shown(revised) as to how she looks now. Everyone was flipping out saying it looked nothing like her and looked terrible.

No, they did that on purpose.  Same with Miranda and now that Chobot chick.  Although, TIM looks like Sheen from the mid 90s.

On another note, have there been any other photos of some of the ME2 sqaud and how they look in ME3? I know we saw Mordin. Any screen shots of Miranda, Jack, etc.?

She's right.

She is... but... I'd also laugh if someone complimented her on her very exposed cleavage.

It makes her arguement a bit harder to take seriously.

I find it kind of weird when they try to emulate a person exactly. Or maybe they're not trying, which makes me wonder what the point is of even scanning someone like Chobot. A recognizable face is never going to look right I think. And the artistic team will tweak the faces definitely, which makes me wonder why bother using one so prominent?

Chobot is an attractive woman and yet her scan looks like Snooki. Same with Miranda. Yvonne S is a stunning woman and Miranda is pretty enough, sure - but I think she would have been prettier if we hadn't known who she was supposed to look like? Knowing what they're based off of really gives it the weird uncanny valley vibe, whereas characters like Ashley, Jack, Kaidan, Kelly, and various others who were probably scanned look normal to us. That's because we haven't really seen their face models. We don't register that they don't look exactly like those people (which I'm sure they don't) and therefore look weird.
