We can say this about Chobot: At least she's not Olivia Munn.
Kind of sad that this was my exact thought when I first saw Chobot in the game, lmfao.
I'm more bothered by the creepy dead eyes everyone has so far, though.
And I agree on the eyes... too much shadowing...

i am disappointed that BW made both the geth & rachni enemies. I was looking forward to having them as allies. Currently, i am redoing ME1, and i killed the rachni queen instead of saving her because she is becoming my enemy. I will do the same for the geth too.
EVERY race is gonna have it's indoctrinated members; that DOESN'T mean the saving the Rachni was a bad idea. You might still get some of them as allies.

He describes the character as someone you'd pass over in favour of the ladies. Thought he might've been talking about Vega, but as we all know, he doesn't have an English accent. Could Cox have tried out for the role of the Big Ben sniper? Perhaps Benny's the bonus DLC character and not Mr. P? So many questions, so few answers. ME3, why aren't you here yet?! *shakes fist*

The rest of the cast looks excellent. Disappointing to hear about Beattie. I'm a little confused though, he did an exceptional job. Was he dropped or did he abstain from the project?

I can only hold on the slim hope that I'll bepleasantly surprisedslightly less homicidal about her involvement in the midst of March.

I sure hope you're doing something highly productive with your life to be judging someone you don't know anything about.

I really don't get this hate on this chobot girl. I mean, lets just ignore the fact that she's done some presenting - has anyone actually seen a reason to be concerned? So far the only thing I've seen is her talking for less than a second. That, and a deluge of posts claiming the role should have gone to Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Alba or Ian McKellen or something.
Where is the issue actually coming from?

I don't hate Chobot. I hate that they possibly used her over other personalities that existed in Mass Effect. Emily Wong should have been the reporter on the Normandy. Short of that I would have accepted Al-Jilani, but Diana Allers doesn't make sense to me when there is still things unfinished with Wong who we're able to promise an exclusive interview to. That's from ME. From ME2 there's the email we receive from her.
I've seen Chobot's name before (don't remember her first name right now), but I've never felt the need to find out who she is. It's great that Chobot got the gig and great for people that follow her, but I can't help but look at Bioware walking across practical avenues for avenues that don't look practical to me.
We'll see what happens.

Meh. Emily Wong's an investigative journalist, not an embedded war correspondent. Not the same kind of thing. Plus, you're assuming that she's not in ME3 at all, which *ahem* may not be the case.Xeranx wrote...

You're right. I'm just looking at what we got with Emily Wong in ME2 and thinking there's not going to be much coming from her in ME3. If her role is anything in ME3 like it was in ME2 I would consider her wasted potential much like a lot that I've noticed in ME2.
