The reason the "bashing" has gone from Allers to Chobot is because we have evidence that suggests that Allers IS Chobot, in the sense that she has Chobot's face, and sort-of Chobot's job, and might even have the exact same personality.PMC65 wrote...
But seriously, my problem (I know, it's my problem) is how the bashing become about her than the character? That is cold in my book.

Why do celebrities need to be in my game? Where the hell is Emily Wong?
Probably reporting somewhere else where she isn't likely to disintegrated. Not every reporter wants to be a war reporter.

Well, look at the difference between the interview with Jessica and the interview with Freddie.CrutchCricket wrote...

Jessica referred to "I" and "me" alone, and did not ONCE say ANYTHING about Diana as a character. Freddie, meanwhile, talked about how Vega is a "no-nonsense soldier who is based on a real life army captain." Sure, he says, "I get to play myself and I hope I have cool powers," but he still describes Vega as a SEPERATE ENTITY.

So that makes it okay ... how? She was fortunate to get a role on ME3. Good for her.
We have not seen this character in-game, shouldn't we wait until we have seen the finished product before we start to critique her performance? She might surprise you.

The game forum likely is about a game that mostly panders to white males more than Bioware does. BSN can easily be more annoying due to most Bioware games being in general good and actually does their best to please multiple sides (not always successfully) and it basically brings more complaints. Make some advancements in anything and fans claim it isn't Bioware doing their best because of blah blah whatever. Sure at times its true and I would love some criticism but the criticism isn't really constructive most of the time.
Put it simply the more things Bioware puts in a game no matter how good the more people on here have to complain about which makes it more annoying.
Oh God this ^
This has been my issue day one. If complainers really want to be effective and make this game the best it could be, they would pay attention to the best ways to get their points over. Here is my little guide:
1.) make sure your message is getting to the right people.
*hint: try writing to the offices for a change.
People do. I know I have, many times. And then I find support on the forums.
2.) Write your complaint in a coherent manner with explanations and possible solutions.
Yes but isn't it arrogant to offer solutions? We aren't the writers. Or the producers. Or the designers. But we are the audience, and if the audience isn't satisfied, then that company can A) Ignore them and lose a good base or
Eh. I agree.3.) Don't forget to transform back from troll to human. This is a very common mistake. Folks forget to passify their troll within.
These are just three of quite a few more constructive ways to actually get BioWare's ear. Some of the complaints I've been a part of were addressed by BioWare in past games and I wonder why? hmmm maybe because I didn't bach them saying they didnt know what they are doing, or that they suck, and that they have lost their touch. Instead I got straight to the point as well as fellow folks who had issues...
Wait... I did it again... I tried to bring logic to the BSN... shame on me <_<
There are a lot of crazy people who don't know how to adequately express their anger. Some just want to vent.
There are just as many crazy people who are INSANELY protective of Bioware's decisions, without ever questioning anything and will jump off a cliff for them if need be.
Its a company. It makes mistakes.
BSN is tame compared to stuff I've seen. It has a more vocal community because the mods try to harvest that.
We will see how things work out once the game comes out. So far I'm pleased that Bioware listens (Liara's Model's breast reduction, S/S romance option in ME3, etc.). But we shall see.

Meh I took that interview as more joking and purposely not revealing anything then serious.

I'm not bashing, hence why I put it in quotes. We're all just wondering WHY she got the role. What's the angle? Just pure fanservice?PMC65 wrote...

Ask yourself, would Ashley really have ever gotten armor if we never made a stink about it?We have not seen this character in-game, shouldn't we wait until we have seen the finished product before we start to critique her performance? She might surprise you.

When describing things in my playthrough(s) I use "I" and "my Shep" interchangably. Your point?AdmiralCheez wrote...

Actually another interesting parallel. A lot of people I talk to on here have loads of playthroughs with various Shepards of all classes and genders. I have one (well two now, I started a femShep). I never see any of them saying "I" in those cases (or at least not very often).
I think you see what I'm getting at here. It's one interview. Let's wait and see before stamping an equal sign and moving on.
