I'm pretty sure you're just hating.

No, if I were hating on her, it'd go like this:

OMG WHO IS THIS UGLY BEEYOTCH
IS SHE SOME IGN BIMBO OMG BIOWARE IS SO STUPID
SHE LOOKS LIKE SNOOKIE AND JESSICA CHOBOT IS A TALENTLESS HACK
I AM NOT LETTING HER ON MY SHIP!!!1!!!1exclamationpoint!!11!oneoneone

Seriously, all I want is for her to do a really good job.  If she does, then her role is more than justified (hell, I'll probably like her).  If she doesn't, then I am REALLY going to wonder what the hell Bioware was thinking when they cast her.

Hey, Bioware hired Dietz to write their latest novel. And they reviewed it and gave it the OK. In fact, Casey Hudson himself also reviewed it and said it was "a really fun lead-in to ME3". Proof: twitter.com/#!/CaseyDHudson/status/101362747836604417
Nothing should come as a surprise anymore when it comes to Bioware's questionable decisions. And now Jessica "Snooki" Chobot stars in ME3. We all know how that's gonna go...it's pretty damn obvious why she's there.

Depending on how you read it, the novel could be fun or hilariously sad.

Yeah because Mass Effect fans just love the West Wing enough to crave Martin Sheen.

Haha.

Actually - The West Wing was fantastic. I loved it.

I liked it too. I also have a tendency to get the theme stuck in my head out of the blue for no reason at all.

This person just have a website which gamers fawn over.

Incorrect.

She presents herself as someone with substance rather than some personality that reviews games online and gamers have a love affair with?

Probably saying your wrong by saming gamers in general fawn over her when a lot of gamers probably don't really know anything about her.

only thing I dont like about BW hiring Chobot is that she is part of the media. Other then that, idc. It is not like she has a large role in the game..

That's covering a political story, very different context. I have family that works on K street, and there image really is everything. That being said, she's in a war zone, the dress is impractical and laughable. Its a shame because I think the idea is kind of cool.

In the first shot I saw, I thought, "Oh, she's wearing a tank top, probably some bdu's or some track pants to fit in with the soldiers on the ship, sounds cool." Now she jsut looks like someone on fox news who's dressed up to look attractive rather than practical and serious about her work.

It would've been cool the have a Lara Logan
Image IPB

You clearly have no idea of what you're talking about.

Diana isn't walking around in the field with Shepard. She's on the ship, probably interviewing him, watching footage of him fight, etc. She doesn't need to walk around with body armor on. Hell, she's a reporter, right? Then she probably has the alliance issued kinetic barrier for the occasions when she DOES go into combat.

Logan doesn't walk around with kevlar on unless she needs to.

Christ on high, why am I even arguing with you people? So many basement dwellers who view the rest of the world through a lens...

Well, if you think all men are violent, cowardly jerks and that women deserve protection more than men, then yeah, you're sexist.  You shouldn't put one sex up on a pedestal like some sacred thing like that, and you certainly shouldn't be bashing the other.

Do not treat one sex as better than the other.

This is coming from a woman, and a feminist at that.

1 Quote the right people... i'm a big boy and can handle myself.

2  I would never hit  woman  unless she is threating my life and I had exhusted all other options to defuse the situation.

3. Be non-voilent or be voilent  is a false  Dichotomy one can not like voilence  not   use   at random and still understand the use of  if the situaion dicates.  I prefer  use all non- voilent solution before resorting to voilence.
Why because  once things become voilent become  complete choatic and out of control and people who have nothing to with the situation tend to get hurt - or like we call collarteral damage- a euphenism for the poor sap who picked the wrong day to go the market.

now that is over ... back on topic.

Your post implied that you have a higher opinion of women than you do of men.  That DOES make you sexist.  Women can be douchebags, too.

That's great that your girlfriend is pursing a career in a non-traditional field, and I'm sure she's lucky to have you, but seriously, dude, there'd be more women in the army if you guys didn't feel the need to hold our hands (and if enough of us stopped expecting our hands to be held; it's a two-way street).

Let me spell it out for you:

1) You. Haven't. Played. The. Game.

2) She doesn't go into the field.

3) You don't know Alliance-Network dress code protocol

4) You aren't the authority on what is appropriate "reporter garb" in the 22nd century.

5) You can't see the entire outfit.

6) You don't know what "fashion" in the 22nd century is.

Come at me bro
