Shepard is a soldier. S/he's supposed to be soldiering. Not attending dinner parties.

So why doesn't Shepard wear his/her armor in full gear when chatting casually with crew aboard the Normandy?

Same basic set of rules. Common sense, folks.

She looks OK, might be fun to have a reporter on board. I just hope she is not LI, otherwise there will be no dialogue available for those not interested in her.

Hmm. Looks a lot better than all the other non-kasumi females in the games. And since she's not a squadie or even aliiance personel at all, she could have very interesting(hidden) reasons to be on the ship. I'm stubborn about my Kasumi romnce(and Romance not just sex), perma squad position, unhooding, and kidnap scene with proper restraints, but Diana and He-spoiler(weho everyone knows about, even crutch I guess who, like me, didn't read the script) look interesting.

EDIT: Note, to self, avoid long sentences with numerous subordinate clauses or the whole point on the sentence might be left out

what's your point? it's no different from standard alliance logo, and i suspect the uniforms they give to field reporters wouldn't be much different from the ones soldiers recieve. and common sense dictates that those uniforms should look professional and a little strict-er than what i see here. 

and about her "relaxing" - i wouldn't care if it was just a dress with flowers or little penises patterned all over it, but that alliance "news network" logo says it is a uniform. there is my issue. 

actually, you know what? i don't even have an issue with that uniform. but for some reason making a single half-joking post on BSN requires me to elaborate on my logic chains and explain obvious things to you guys. i'm not sure why are you jumping out of your smartypants because of it

Why does she look so...plasticy? The screen doesn't even look like it's from ME - looks like it's from Assassins Creed or something.

Brotherhood and Revelations weren't numbered sequels. I see them more as standalone expansion packs, to be honest.

In regards to the discussion on what she's wearing (lol) I'm sure there are NBC or FOX shirts which do not constitute "formal" wear yet still have their logos on them.
And really check out all the fan art of *insert LI here* wearing Shepard's N7 nighty or what have you.
