I only wonder if they are going to include her lazy eye lol. Its a interesting concept though.

I can see her nagging for shepard to comment on the war while hes using the galaxy map.

And who's debating that? We know it's a marketing ploy. Isn't it time we got over that? The character should be judged by her actual performance and contribution and not what Bioware PR thinks is "hot".

In all honestly I think people are losing sight of something else as well. Without the IGN connections and internet fame Jess is just a fan like us. So now imagine any one of us was offered a role in Mass Effect. What would be the result of that?
1. You wouldn't shut up about it. "I'm in Mass Effect!" would be your catch phrase of the day, especially if you've had to sit on this for so long. Incidentally I would also offer this as an excuse for the beef people have with her saying "I" as opposed to "Diana" or "my character"
2. If you have it in you, you'll give the best damn performance of your life. Because you've been on the other side of the fence, b!tching about poor acting and sh!t characters. You'll know how big a new **** fans will tear you if you ruin their game. And finally you won't want to ruin it for yourself because you're still a fan and you still want to enjoy it as the end consumer.

So yeah, I think if Jess has any skill or talent, she's going to do a great job. And this being her first performance we'll have to just wait and see if she does.

Me in Mass Effect? Maybe it's not that bad, that Sheoard doesn't romance Kasumi. Not that I would have a chance.. I'd have better chances to model some weird alien in SWTOR

But to be more serious, it wouldn't be bad if Bioware would make another completely new brand, and bring in people from BSN for actors(at least).

As far as I know, Emily Wong is workiong with the punch magnet(or the other way around) so I'm guessing they are not friends with Diana

I have to agree. I still don't like the intrusively fan-service-y presentation, but having read her over-the-top excitement about being in ME3 made me smile. Now *that's* something I can wholeheartedly understand.

I think she's more on the Emily Wong side of reporting as opposed to Al Jilani. No way anyone would think Al Jilani (or someone similar) would last on the Normandy.

And neither are Jerry Springer.

Did you read my posts? I really want her to do a good job as I said in other posts but if she is annoying and bothers my crew a ton and they want her gone then she's gone. Especially if she bothers a LI for insider info. People doing that in real life annoy me. I am saying that I hope that you can get rid of her at any time in case she is annoying and un-needed and not just have a one chance thing to do it.

I can understand the BSN in general. Some are not willing to give anyone a chance that are new. I personally hope she does a good job as I said but I still think they could of found another journalist to do the job but it is marketing ploy so meh. Whatcha gonna do?

Neither. Based on the fact she is a reporter, and as such, a potential annoyance. I'm glad she's not forced on me, if she does end up annoying me.
I never said I won't wait untill the game comes out before deciding on whether or not I like her, but right now, I do not like her design.
