If we got to pick, I'd choose Garrus. My Shepard kind of sees Garrus as his best buddy. I mean, they've been through 2 games' worth of adventures now and will also have a 3rd. Plus Garrus has more than proved he is brilliant at coming up with plans and leading.

Garrus is the other obvious choice since he has experience in leading and is a great soldier.

Garrus will always be my second in command.

I'm guessing it will be Ashley/Kaiden by default, if we go by rank and the fact that it's an alliance ship. But hey, It's my ship, I'm saving the galaxy... Garrus is second in command

I'm I the only one you thought Shepard was promoted to Captain in ME1? When Shepard replaced Captain Anderson in ME1 as commander of the Normandy. That would make Shepard and Kaiden the same rank.

I agree with the one post the second the alliance trick ashley or Kaiden take over my ship well the alliance better get c sec because I will find a way to murder them. those 2 will fall in line in ME 3 or else they will die .

Are you freaking joking there is no way in hell some stupid spectre out ranks a Admiral . Plus Shepard is the commanding officer of the SR 2  the alliance be damed that is his or her ship it was stolen from Shepard . the VS better either fall in line or get the hell off the SR 2 .
